I know that the courts of law use the word "making" to imply merely downloading an image, but isn't that a misleading term for Joey Public? Making implies that he either created the offending image or was somehow involved in its creation. "Downloading" would be a better term IMO because he acquired the image, that was created by somebody else from an earlier time.

Raping a baby though? What the hell :eek:
 
When someone admits guilt to crimes like that, I'm all for it. I don't know if I could agree to it if found guilty as there's still an element of doubt.
 
This could just be the start of something and the journey from Pontypridd to Cardiff may well be his last train home. I don't know what these people are thinking to make a move like the accusations claim. He's probably shouting from the rooftops to friends and family as they to see that the media frenzy will be like everyday combat for all involved. Some piece of evidence that crops up is bound to sway the decision.
 
Threads like this always start people off on the death penalty march.

If anybody could explain how anything would have been different had the death penalty been in place I'd love to see how (along with some evidence, reason or logic).

Do people honestly think that a harsh punishment somehow makes the abuse they were involved in OK?, personally... I think it's a bit bloody late when it gets to the stage of punishment.
