So we can copy and paste their names across Internet forums and state our disdain towards their unruly actions. This will make us feel better about ourselves whilst further validating ourselves to an online community of people we don't know and will most likely never know.

I have her facebook profile sat here, and theirs even pictures of her baby son on the profile even his name, her tweets stopped in December last year, as did her fb, and tumblr accounts

Before anyone asks if i'm sure if its the real girl she even has posts about Ian Watkins on her statuses from last year.. openly talking about a relationship with him or making it out that way.

There's a bit in the bbc article which doesn't read too well. The part which reads his admission to being a determined and committed paedophile. Does that mean there are individuals or groups of paedophiles that take a more relaxed nonchalant approach paedophilia?
 
Only heard about this story today. Shocking. I do try to avoid the tabloid paedo bandwagon as they where all young once and quite possible abused themselves in some way as children but i have to admit my blood was boiling abit reading the news article.

It's the difference between downloading a few images one day and actively pursuing children in a calculated way over a period of time surely?

Completely agree, he must have been messed up in order to act the way he did. Vile individual, whatever happens to him won't be enough of a punishment!

Quite. How many millions of people watch porn on the internet, and would not for a second rape a baby. Seriously.
 
Maybe someone better versed in legalese could explain this to me:

Watkins, who was called a "determined and committed paedophile" in court, admitted attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13 but not guilty to rape - a plea the prosecution accepted.
