This is why I can't stand partisanship when it comes to politics.

The Tories don't "hate the poor", rather they put too much faith in the 'trickle-down' economic model. They see rich people as "job creators" and think that when the rich do well, they will pull up everyone else with them.

This is a false, or rather not completely true, stance in my opinion but that's not the same as purposely hating poor people.

They may not hate the poor, but neither do they particularly care about them.

Their priorities are supporting the middle class, their pals' business interests, feathering their own nests, and not a lot else.
 
Tories are in it for themselves and their rich mates....see Royal Mail as the recent example of in it for themselves and their rich financial backers. Tories don't give a toss about anyone except themselves. As long as they rape and pillage all they can whilst in power, then they get a cushy directorship job when finally they are kicked out of government.

It's a win win for them....financial kickbacks in power and a cushy well paid job in their cronies company when they aren't in power.

The only honest intention someone in parliament ever had, was Guy Fawkes

Tories are pro business by definition along with small government, chances are that they will have ties with the business sector.

Labour are pro unions by definition as much as they like to pretend they currently aren't.

Might want to stop reading too much of the Daily Mirror your clichés are a touch ott.

I don't read the mirror. You want to read tabloid trash then go ahead....

My point is, no matter who is in power, they are all as corrupt as each other. There is no difference between any politician. Few, if any, have had real jobs, straight from Oxford to some cushy research role that daddy has organised. They then slime their way into politics.

My fear is that people are satisfied with the current status quo and will vote either tories or labour back in for another 5 years of misery for the normal person.

Tories don't like the average joe blogs. They only like us to be slave labour for their financial paymasters.
 
They are all pretty bad which is why I'm voting Green Party. I don't want to live in a poisonous wasteland in 50+ years

I really don't get why pointing out "racist" constantly will change a thing for UKIP voters or floating secret anti EU ones.

I dont think being branded "racist" will be such a big thing in the next 10 years or so unless the boom bust cycle booms more than it busts and everyone can feel content again and smug with their debt repayments on houses and cars.

If a more mature party offered some kind of Australian style points system on immigration then im sure UKIP would lose half its "outraged" voters overnight.

Didn't ukip's advert recently get slammed for claiming 26m people come to work her when the actual amount was less than 2% of that

Just proves ukip are the party of creating irrational slightly racist fears
