Love Britain ? - Vote UKIP.

Nigel Farage should take a trip down to Vodafone HQ in Newbury, where a large proportion of the technical workforce are immigrants, they build things like 4G capable mobile networks, and their skills are very hard to find.

If Farage wants to "close the doors" he can kiss goodbye the ability to deliver cutting edge technology projects, because many of these big tech companies hire lots of immigrants - not because they're cheap, but because they're highly qualified and skilled.

I am not trying to sway any voters but they stand for things I believe in and hence why I will be voting for UKIP. You also have a vote and can vote for whom you believe in.

I will :) I freely admit that I have absolutely no idea who to vote from, but they are ethically and morally odious, and I can't support that.

One of my problems with them is that I believe they talk a lot, but have very little in the way of actions to show us.

Good job they only want to cut down on UNSKILLED workers then isn't it?

Talking rubbish again. Go and read their site. But I hope British companies start training British people up and not going for the cheap option.

these "highly qualified and skilled." immigrants are more likley relocated by the big tech compaines from their overseas buisness units, rather than hired locally from the uk's cheap labour influx....

It's all on their site dude.

There's certainly a lot of inflated figures on their website.

What I'm more interested in knowing is; how people think they are going to change what successive governments haven't been able too? Or Are you assuming that should UKIP get elected, they will automatically remove us from Europe and therefore remove any requirements to allow open borders?

Some of the guys I have seen work on site certainly wasn't here legally and the guys who employ them had great delight in telling me this. I now work on a port and have seen illegals trying to get into the country.

I understand their need to get out of their country and I sympathise with their plight/troubles but the youth of today and in future need to be able to secure jobs. The Conservatives didn't do bugger all, Labour didn't do bugger all, so let someone else have a go I say.

Right. So I'm asking you HOW UKIP are going to be able to do anything different to previous successive governments.

What magic touch has Mr Farage got that will suddenly stop all the illegal immigrants?

Why do you think any one of us should be drawing up some kind of master plan that UKIP would use?

UKIP are simply the people most likely to be able succeed in this area, they are already making the right noises, the other parties spent years refusing to even admit there was a problem, and once they did admit it did nothing significant to rectify it.

UKIP are far more likely to at least attempt to really make a change here.

They're only the party most likely to succeed because that's what they've built the large majority of their political agenda on!! It doesn't mean that they have the means.

I've already made up my mind. UKIP gets my vote. And proudly so. Do I feel the need to justify my choice? Well..
The fact is we all get a vote so use it as you see fit.
The far left, and some on here, will always run screaming "racist" when a party comes down hard on immigration.
Something has to be done about this topic and only UKip seem to be bothering.

"haven't been able too" it's more like no wanting to. Again you fail as UKIP has said they will have a vote
you know just like the cons\labour did but never kept their promise.

rofl @ how gullible you are.

If you think all the technology we have/will have in future, especially things like telecommunications, can be built by "trained British people" without a decent amount of outside help, then you're way out of touch.

UKIP = RIP

At least the good news is ukip can't form a government anyway, they don't contest enough seats, so all this talk of ukip changing anything is rubbish, the absolute best they will get is a couple seats

Hello how did you think they did it in my day? oh that's right THE COMPANIES TRAINED PEOPLE. Wonder why most F1 teams are here?
could it be we have GREAT engineers? I think so ;)

And just for laughs all the VW owned car companies use a BRITISH way of forging their engine parts.

You do know that it's the European election and not general election?

Yes I understand what Farage has said. I'm asking you how you think they will achieve this?

Right. So I'm asking you HOW UKIP are going to be able to do anything different to previous successive governments.

I don't know and I am not a politician. You can bold things as much as you like and that will not make me change my vote. I don't know how a TV puts that image on my screen but that doesn't mean I will stop watching it.

That's great, but do you genuinely think that they have the means to change it? Would you try to switch your tv on if you knew it wasn't plugged in?

I don't think you understand,

Many of these immigrants get very highly qualified, (multiple degrees and industry certs) very quickly - they don't screw around and they don't wait for someone else to give it to them. They're driven individuals and they'll interview/work just as well as their English counterparts - they're highly employable, that is the inescapable reality.

You can spout all the patriotic drivel you like - the fact is, when it comes to global cutting-edge technology, immigrant engineers and scientists are playing a very big part, and why shouldn't they?

UKIP will only reduce our ability to perform in such industries, I don't see what they add.

Ugh, I'm not a fan of UKIP's but not once has he even suggested "closing the doors," as much as the BBC likes to make out he has.

You are correct we need immigration to provide the skills we are short of in a controlled manner, the best from all over the world, what we don't need is uncontrolled immigration which floods the low end of the labour market with cheap unskilled labour from only one continent and drives down wages on those who can't afford it the most.

This is all UKIP are suggesting and on that particular soundbite I do agree with them. We have reached a point where we are systematically turning visas down for nurses and engineers coming from the likes of Australia etc because we simply have to accept whoever turns up from the EU no questions asked. Its daft. If anything our current system is racist to anyone outside of the EU because we all love to call concerns over the immigration system racist now a days....
