and for the umpteenth time Farage & co have to come out with the standard response that UKIP is not full of racist bigots yet more and more of them turn up and say something unbelievably awful about a minorty group 'bongo bongo land', '*****', 'UK storms are divine retribution for gay marriage laws'

now we can add 'migrate to a black country' ( on a side note there was an amusing comment in the article about this particular gaffe stating maybe the ukipper meant The black country - Dudley )

UKIP are not fit to manage a burger van let alone a country. Farage seems to be using the 'Goebbels technique' of repeating a lie often enough until people believe it ( UKIP is not full of racist bigoted sexists )

They are by no means a solution to the current administration

If you care so much about EU reform the greens are an actual different party who hold the same view

I definitely wouldn't trust them to run the country either, in fact I think they wouldn't trust themselves to run the country.

I think they do have a point on the immigration issue, we shouldn't be allowing unfettered immigration from one continent if it means we have to discriminate against the rest of the world which is what is happening.

Clegg is the biggest user of propaganda

We need the EU to protect ourselves from Climate Change
We need the EU to stop rapists and peedophiles
We need the EU to stop terrorism
We need the STATE to protect us

And it will probably work, a significant proportion of the population now identifies solely with the state and we are entering a generation where it is now inconceivable to many that life once existed without interference from the Government to top up their wages, even if they have a job etc

Same with the libdems, they have some policies that make sense and some that make them look like complete loons.

You get the feeling that they would attempt to change the name of the country if they got into power just in case it offended anyone from other countries.
 
Lenny henry is proof that minorities are already over represented in the media. He's dreadful. How did he ever get his own show? Positive discrimination. They were desperate for a non white non threatening character who didn't cuss or wear baseball cap.

To be fair, perhaps hes talking about the people working off the screen. Anyone who claims minorities are underrepresented actually on the screen must be a total nutcase.

But even so, I doubt there are many poor white kids being brought up by a drug addict mum in a flat in wales or glasgow with mold growing on the walls working 'off the screen' either. But I bet he doesn't give a **** about them. Is the working class white kid bought up on some council estate by a drug addict single mother really anymore likely to achieve a position of power than a black kid in similar circumstances?

The trouble is with Lenny Henry, and the whole swath of idiots like him, is that they take a simplistic position and then just blame absolutely everything on race/racism.
 
I hope so.

when people talk about minorities and crime, socioeconomic terms are usually thrown around with reckless abandon. These people aren't poor because they are black nor are their neighbours poor because they are white - both are poor due to circumstances of their birth.

Neither that minority or his neighbour might make it onto tv but that's not due to racism.

I'm loving it, ukip are being battered by every section of the media, from the right of the sun and daily fail to the left of the guardian and even the socialist worker. Ukip have so much negative press it's exposing them as the racist bigoted one issue party they truly are, fantastic!

Right and left united against ukip ;)

I kind of agree but historically the general public knew when a party were a comedy party and didnt vote for them, e.g Lord Sutch. UKIP however seem to have unified the idiots. Perhaps their party moto could be "morons assemble".

The media is so against UKIP yet it is making no difference to actual voters, if anything it could be making people more sympathetic towards them when they see everybody attacking them.
