Well space relates strongly to density...
and space not being an issue would mean high density wouldn't be a problem (potentially high density is a benefit in service providing if properly planned)

It's a thread on UKIP, how could it contain anything but rubbish?
have i ever stated my position on immigration?
No citation needed - come to Blackpool and count how many Poles work in the town, in the hotels, in the restaurants, in the entertainment venues, at the Pleasure Beach etc.
Now go for a drive round Grange Park and down Central drive and see how many of the dossers drinking cheap cider and selling drugs are Polish.
The "Polish" areas of the town are actually some of the nicest maintained and safest parts of the town now.
The BRITISH are workshy.
Has anyone just seen the Election Broadcast by the Labour party? Well that made things perfectly clear as to what their policy was with regards to the European Elections...
Racism only works one way?
Polish are drunken bigots.
Which comment is more acceptable to you?
Neither are races, and I'm British. Stereotyping, though.

As far as Im aware Japan, Korea and China haven't 'closed their borders'. Most likely you know this full well tooAny country that effectively closes it's borders should be classed as a basket case as the holes in the nations skill set will snowball.
This is why the EU concerns me as we have pretty much closed our borders to anywhere that isn't the EU.

You can still emigrate there... if you are a Professor in Power Electronics or a highly skilled ship builder, or a Formula 1 driver etc. But of course if you want to go there to work as a cleaner, bus driver, labourer or some other unskilled job I suspect you will have a few problems getting in
Japan is a bit of a basket case though, it's population is aging rapidly and procreation has gone out of the window.
sorry stereotyping my bad.
the British is lazy is a fallacy spouted by those that champion migrants its disingenuous to the good people of the UK and the more people who peddle it the more its believed to be true. I feel sorry for kids of today sold down the river and deemed lazy and good for nothing.

The UK works more hours and produces less than many of its neighbours. The productivity of the UK is worse than the G7 average. Im almost certain that people that are willing to travel hundreds if not thousands of miles to make a better life for themselves will work harder than many who are in jobs cruising along.
