in need of a good lower ab workout my mid section is pretty good but my lower has got a tiny layer of fat and isnt as toned, want the V to look better, any suggestions

From my knowledge losing that layer of fat would be the best option rather than excercise, the muslces are there but that fat is hiding them :)

Toned. Toned isn't a thing. If you mean defined then fine. I don't want to be *that guy* (who am I kidding, I LOVE being *that guy*!) but it really makes life hard when people hear these words and then think it's a verb too.

some more cardio work then, i do jogging and running quite abit and punch bag workout everyother day, know of any cardio that targets abs??

I don't think it's viable to keep your lower abs out permanently. As soon as you start eating to put mass back on, it'll go again.

There's no cardio to target abs. You just need to shed body fat. Which will be largely affected by diet. Do you actually lift weights, or just these cardio activities?

defined then lol

only weights i do is bicep curls, im happy with my arms back shoulders and chest, just the lower abs

It's the hardest place to lose fat for pretty much everyone, you just have to reduce your calorie intake, watch what you eat and train well and the fat will disappear.

fair enough - just wanted to get a picture of how active/what sort of activities you do.

I think what you're going to need mate, is to list out what you eat on a day to day diet and get really strict with your food.

But if that doesn't sound like something you fancy, then don't bother. As I said, getting the bottom two abs out is one of the hardest things to do - men just store fat there. You've got to get very lean to hit it, which is almost impossible to maintain long term.

Toned **shudder**

Abs are made in the kitchen, there is no special excerise you can perform to fix that layer of fat. Your diet needs to be right in order to get the lower abs to be defined.

Might as well not bother.

To be fair Zefan, when someone is a labourer, they can build a decent amount of muscle from moving heavy things about all day long, for months and months, years and years. He's not coming in here asking how to turn in to a mass monster, just help bring out certain lines. Totally doable given the circumstances - it's not as if he's a fat-thin office worker :)
