US: lucifer

Does anyone know what's with the huge delay in airing episodes?

28th Nov until 16th Jan between episodes 10 and 11.

Then it's three episodes aired and now we're left waiting between 30th Jan until the 1st of May!

Is it any wonder so many series get canceled when there's such a time between episodes. By all means leave one season on a cliff hanger and keep the fans waiting until the next season but these mid season breaks are bloody annoying!
 
Apparently they thought it was a good idea to slot "APB" into the middle of Lucifer's schedule.

Good news is they have already renewed it for season 3 :)
 
Oh and the break between the end of November and mid january is because everything stops for college football and basketball plus all the channels pull all of their scripted shows for the Christmas break - it used to drive me bonkers when I lived over there :D
 
I saw a clip recently from Lesley Ann Brandt, explaining that they needed the extra break in order to do some final production work on the latter part of the season, the time crunch that they are normally under is almost unworkable. Fox also wanted to pilot the other show in a slot that they know is normally very popular.

Don't think they plan to go anywhere soon, after all, they've only recently cast god.
 
onto episode 4 of season 2

some of the things Tricia helfer comes out with as she gets used to her physical self are very funny
 
Its my favourite show on TV right now. Good to see it back and with such a strong episode.
