Leprechaun raging at shorttricky
standard discussion

I'm now slightly annoyed at something I missed. At one point leprechaun typed "shottricky" in the game thread, got pulled up for missing the 'r' and replied that he kept doing that. At the time it seemed odd because I hadn't really noticed him doing it before. Looks like most of the typos were in the scumdoc and it was actually a clue that that he had been typing elsewhere...

anytime i had mentioned short i either shottricky or shot

Brilliant scumdoc, who knows why Short had a niggle on Lep but he was right all along. Would have been awesome if he'd followed through on that instead of doubting himself.

Leprechaun was 6th of 7 on Brabbinho, and 6th of 6 on K1LLSW1TCH.

Leprechaun was L-1 on Brab and hammered K1LLSW1TCH. Once the bandwagon gets that far it's unlikely to change, so why not try to make yourself look town by hammering your scumbro? Pretty damning for Leprechaun there IMO.

This is what settled me on you Leprechaun. Reading the scumdoc the suggestion was to just jump on at the end, think that was where you went wrong.

well that was fun stressful and long. I need to apologize to k1ll and brabb completely screwed both of you, if I hadn't weighed in on brabb he might have survived

Don't worry, I was going to vote Brab when I got home, only missed it by 5 minutes :)

Booo! :(

Really interesting reading everything. Surprised at the constant scumdoc going on. I must admit I had always thought that something like that would give the scum a powerful advantage so they can plan things out, but perhaps not.

It would be interesting to get a list of who targetted who at night, especially with so many roles available.

Out of interest, Shami, why were you so convinced on Pudney being town? He was bulletproof so I'm trying to work out how you knew he was town. I assume you tracked one of the scum before they were killed and they targeted him?

The scumdoc shows my plan was working at the start though. Be a noisy distraction for as long as possible without looking too suspicious. I didn't want to fly under the radar since that would lead me to being a larger target, I thought.
Sorry for all the accusations, Shami! After your first few posts, that was perfect for me to latch onto. I didn't think you were scum, but there was enough doubt out there for me to focus purely on you. I was convinced I would be able to keep the argument up against you, and the scum would leave me alone since I was focusing so hard on a non-scum player, it would have been perfect! Except too many people started voting me, so I had to find someone who I would transfer the votes onto.
As I mentioned, it was like there were teams forming. If I kept my 'team' alive since they were agreeing with me, I would be in a good position, so I switched to one of the guys that was agreeing with you. That way in the next day it would be more likely I could kill you, while still being able to defend myself that you did look kinda scummy :p

Ah well!

I tracked Pudney the night after we killed K1ll, as someone died that night and he didn't visit anyone we concluded he was town (as the roleblocker was also dead)

Of course it turned out there was a ninja so he could have still been mafia. I'll be honest I'm not keen on all the roles, too many of them counter each other and make the other ones a bit useless and the game as a whole too random.

seriously though i do apologize, looking back i shouldn't have done it, it was a dick move sorry brabb and kill

I don't mind losing, but the manner in which we lost was pathetic! As soon as I had a few votes on me you were pretty much resigned to hammering me! Had you not voted for me there's no guarantee I would have been hammered by another player and we could've started a new day phase minus one townie. :p

It's both an advantage and a disadvantage. They get to plan more, but because they're working together more closely it's easier for them to slip and make that obvious in the thread.

Unfortunately I've deleted the setup doc so I can't show the full list of Night Actions, but I think people have already declared most of them. kaiowas protected Egon successfully on Night 1, then you on Night 2 but was role blocked. Shami never targeted anyone who took an action except shorttricky, Psymonkee declared who he watched in the thread (and missed one night), 47 never got to target anyone.

+1

I quite like the extra roles as they add an extra dimension however I still maintain that we were introduced to too much, too soon. We should have played a few games where roles are gradually introduced and we know what roles to expect whereas in this game just about anything could have happened and many were left scratching their heads.

I'm still claiming 3 for 3 on calling the NKs though ;)

I wouldn't have minded all the roles if it was an open setup (i.e. we knew what roles were in the game)

Playing as vanilla town in a game practically full of special roles was a little frustrating!

Here's my notes from the final day where I worked out that Pudney was 1 shot bulletproof, and what to do after the NK if we didn't lynch successfully: http://www.quicktopic.com/cgi-bin/p...&forum=50&topic=yCj8dfGQveqM&rand=aTCYcVAWbn7

Only one of the mafia members does the kill though. If there is a mafia ninja then they should always be the one doing the kill since the other mafia members will stay at home and thus be immune to trackers/watchers.
