Still think Mclaren are making a crucial massive mistake with Lewis, I'm fairly sure last year in one/two races you have a situation where either on pole or simply doing a slow second run in Q3 rather than finish the lap they pull the car in. Problem is I'm fairly sure every time that's happened it hurts the tyres.
You see quite a few teams randomly do a couple slow laps on softs to "condition" them, my thinking is doing a slow cool down lap helps conserve tyres much much more than saving a lap but the tyres cool down way to fast, just a theory but wouldn't surprise me.
Either way, great lap, would have been nice to see him finish his second lap run just to see the time, Kimi doing hugely better this week is great to see, his car seemed to lack a fair bit of grip and he still threw it around and got a great time vs other guys with much better grip in the corners.
