Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

Can't the media drop this now? He did wrong, he apologised. Everyone's* had their say several times over. Move on!

***edit***

Literally, everyone. Even Mike bloody Atherton waded in for the Times - comparing it to the time he was caught ball-tampering.

Is there a link to watch the whole thing online?
I'll say it again, I absolutely hate the BBC website and do not find it easy to navigate.
I'll go to the TV but if I can, online would be better.

Yeah I just dont see the Toyotas on the podium - too used to them not matching their qualifying pace with race pace...

I just wish (which is wierd for me to say) that if Kimi was more professional what he really could achieve. I like his public attitude outside of the car but wish he was more diligent when working...

Vettel and Alonso are gonna be a surprise - both have wierd fuel loads that may hinder/improve their chances dependent on the all important weather...

ps3ud0

Happy for Button. When he first started F1, if i remember rightly, it was the 'Next best British talent' and all that sort of thing...high hopes. He dropped quite a lot of points, finishing quite low and then bang he's somehow, awesome? :)

Petulant child. Threaten to quit and see how much everyone begs you to stay. If they don't want you to quit and you keep threatening to quit then they may not take further action against you.

Louie the Liar.

he needs to tell his dad to go away and to stay away at race weekends he doesnt need to be there and it will only hamper what teams would want hamilton in the future.

having said that if hamilton really did say what that article suggests then he is an ungrateful little spoilt brat who probably wouldnt even have moved on from racing go karts.

mclaren put him where he is not his skill.

It's not that he's suddenly awesome, Button has always been a good driver, early on he showed a lot of promise, but over the years he found himself in what even he described as a 'development' seat, helping to develop the car that honda had, and accepting that it was years from being truely competative.

I think that this year, we are seeing what he is truely capable of with a car under him that suits his driving style and ability

Love the way everyone slams LH's attitude. Let's look at the previous WDC's:

KR. Lazy - can't always be arsed especially if it's not going his way. Childish - loses concentration and slams it in the wall way too much.

FA. Petulant - blocked his own team mate just because he wasn't getting the most attention for the team, diddums.

MS. Don't need to say any more really, MS' crimes spanned his whole career, culminating with him parking his car in Quali at Monaco.

Prost & Senna. Both argued like cat and dog, took each other out even when team mates.

The last 'nice' guy to win the WDC was Damon Hill and that is one in the last 20 years.

/edit, MH wasn't an arse, he was just terminally booooooeing :D

Not watch last weekend? From pitlane to 3rd for Trulli.
Not seen about 20 qualifying performances where theyve just disappeared in the race and failed on any promise of performance - ever heard of the Trulli Train?

Last weekend was somewhat partly attrition and quite a bit of luck

Trulli is a good driver, just known not to pull it together for the race - Glocks actually better but I expect him to be bullied by drivers around him...

Past performances just dictate that Toyota sometimes have a quick car at the start of the season but pretty quickly fall off the pace

I don't think EJ is good as an interviewer full stop but having said that, this is his first crack at the job so I'll give it some time :)
