Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

and high downforce cars....

It's relative though I wonder how much downforce is between the cars now to then. Take 97 for example those cars where high grip high downforce yet it didn't take many years to gain back all that downforce and more after the reg changes. The cars could soon take Eau rouge flat, they all could where they couldn't in 97.

I bet the actua Downforce figure from 91 to today are not that far apart. Yet I bet the wet tyres are much better.

What?!?

20 min till 12... 10 min restart warning... 1:30 of these people un-lapping... 8:30 mins to Race..under the safety car? eh?

Bit of a farce this, is this race going to stop after 2 hours? If so why the hell are they going on about restarting they've only got 20 minutes left!

Even if they do restart all they will do is go behind the safety car for 10 minutes which won't change the points or anything so seems a total waste of time.

Hang on, didnt they used to be able to stop the race, wander about for ages, and then run a second half of the race on agrigate? And that didnt affect the 2 hour timelimit cos it was effectely 2 races and the times got all added up, which consuses everything! lol. Remember they used to do that.

same as when you have a normal safety ca, lapped people have to unlap themselves, it's such a gay rule though.

Not really, if there was a Force India between say button and Glock, that car then has a massive impact on any restart and. If the race was stopped as the top 3 or 4 were scything through 5 or 6 back markers, it would be a nightmare with people having to move over and in the limited visibility, you'd be in the doo doo.

oh, looks like it's brightened up.
