Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

As per a previous post, they managed for decades in VERY high downforce cars - not the current F1 generation are hampered by other totally gay regs.

i agree that it's unfair, but it would be more unfair for Fisi/Sutil etc to go ploughing into the back of the leader at turn 1 having out-braked himself or P2 running into the back of a spinning Force India or P3 losing out massively because he can't see to get passed a back marker because he can't see where to do it in the spray.

And as said that down force has been gained back. And how does that matter for breaking at the first corner. It's no different to any normal race. When sc car goes in they can't over take before the finish lien anyway. That's a silly statement.

so, how many backroom protests will there be now after changing things around before they even got to the podium... sheesh..

Another feather for button though, so all is good...

WTF? Heidfeld/Glock swap over?
The powers that be really are a bunch of fettling tools.

If that was the order at the end of 31 it's the correct decision; it's the final lap before red flag went down. I just thought glock was 2nd by then....

I think everyone is missing the point weber has finished the race in the points with out any accident...
The gods of f1 are toying with us

Why is everyone getting so upset? They have to work it out.
Perhaps not being open about it and transparent until they decide to publish. If they said we are working out the results due to the people in pit lane etc 20mins ago we wouldnt care if it was revised.

Its all about the transparency since they seemingly have no culpability to us.

ps3ud0

So, the FIA screw with the results well after the race and they're pilloried. This time they sort the results out before the podium ceremony....and they're pilloried.

*sigh*

***edit***

And they had to call that race early. Christ, did you lot see the shot of Kimi with a frappin' bow wave in front of his car as he went around the final hairpin? These cars just aren't designed with those conditions in mind.

I'm not arguing about when the SC is out, my point is that you have to run it as though the SC will release them at some point, ergo allowing for problems at corner 1. The back markers aren't meant to be there, they are slower into the corner and slower out, that is why they are at the back of he grid and imho they shouldn't be allowed to interfere with the top order.

As for the downforce issue, there were 4 or 5 off the track in the last lap, SPA last year was carnage, these cars are just pony in the wet.
