Malaysian GP 2009 - Race 2/17

Toyota are no. 1 for finance, Ferrari no 2, BMW 3 and I think McLaren are 4th? (or are they other way round with BMW)
Though then again you also have Red Bull and Renault around 6 and 5 I think

Is that in terms of what the parent company has as assets or something??

When it comes to who spends what in F1, I'm sure Ferrari and MacLaren are pretty much spending way more then most!

No, that is in terms of spend. I'm not sure how current that information is, but this was from about a season or 2 back when it was basically worked out that Toyota were spending the most and Ferrari at no 2; I cannot remember the figures for McLaren or BMW and which way round they went though.
(I'm ignoring Honda here as they pulled out)

I thought Ferrari were ahead of McLaren, or is that with the McLaren fine included :D

But yer, it's something like that (surprised BMW are behind Renault)

That's slightly hilarious! Means that LH's extra point cost McLaren $20m!

Is he not owning upto his mistake - or are Ferrari trying to blame him

I guess the former is more likely - but with such an obvious mistake it isnt that harmful to admit I would have thought

More internal politics at Ferrar?

If it was MS' call, i think it is shocking a 'consultant' has that much clout.

You would be suprised how many highly paid "consultants" I deal with daily who are advising senior managment about IT strategy, yet have no clue about what they are actually doing.

I used to be worried about not knowing enough to go into consulting, however, it seems that such a thing is not really a barrier at all!!
Why should F1 be any different :D

Constructors champions. But nobody cares about that ;) "World Champions" is almost always referring to the WDC. In my experience anyhow

Well to me that would be world champion (singular) and world champions (plural)

Maybe it is just me.
