Malaysian Grand Prix 2013, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

For a couple of laps or so Rosberg and Hamilton were just trading places in the DRS zones. If Rosberg could have stayed ahead then he would have benefitted from the order.

Watching the highlights on the beeb and it's a shame this one wasn't one of their live races with EJ sticking his nose in where it wasn't wanted and asking awkward questions :p

This is what I was thinking. 3 or 4 times he passed Hamilton in the first DRS zone, only to get passed back in the second. If he had his head screwed on an was genuinely faster then he would have waited, passed in the second zone, and stayed in front. The fact he didn't makes me think Hamilton had him covered and was entirely held back by fuel. Had Rosberg been in front he wouldnt have been able to go any faster than Hamilton was.

I am very aware he's covering his tail that he broke his team rules. ;)

Very entertained by Suzie Perry! Putting DC on the awkward sport as much as she can which is good (especially with DC's nose so far up Vettel's bum...)

I felt a little bit sorry for her tbh, she was asking valid questions and DC just didn't like someone digging away at vettel or red bull. He got a little snotty with her because of it.

Vettel is not sorry, his interviews made no sense at all, he could have just let webber back through, the mere fact he was celebrating when he crossed start finish straight (car weaving) says it all.

I just finished watching the BBC race and you see him pass on the first DRS zone and then just pull over on the second and let Lewis back past

That has to be the most depressing podium & set of interviews I've seen, I did laugh at Helmuts comment about no no.1+2 driver though!

Just finished watching the race, reasonable all in all though as ever Marks comments on the podium about Vettel having protection made me lol.

It's more along the lines of not wanting to irritate his employer. Sky at least doesn't cover up that one of their presenters is still employed by a team. Davidson often mentions his time in the Mercedes sim.

Vettel didn't cheat. He's just a ****. That final pass was ridiculous from a team perspective.

Adding to reasons why I don't like him.

Much prefer Webber as a guy.

Rosberg v Hamilton I felled slightly uncomfortable about, but at least Rosberg's more of a team player. I think the couple of laps where one overtook the other and back, showed that if Hamilton wanted to come back and gone back over him he probably could have done. But, it would have been nice if they'd let them race a bit more.

Alonso was a fool, but now he's learnt.

Lotus was a bit disappointing compared to last week, but suggests that Kimi may not demolish it.

I wonder how long it will take for all the people complaining to realise they are moaning about a driver going for a win rather than being happy to settle for second...

Isn't that what people wanted?

The only reason this is an issue is because it was Vettel, the driver everyone loves to hate.

It's only the second race of the season and I'm already against Mercedes, to give Hamilton a podium when their other driver was faster and clearly should have been 3rd at this stage is terrible. That is such a slap in the face for Rosberg, they might as well tell him now that he has no chance of winning if Hamilton is in the same race.

Perhaps he should have ignored the team orders and fought his way past?

I think it comes down, more to the fact that Mark has previously given up stuff for vettel, but seb isn't willing to give to back. I'm not saying it didn't make for a good race, it's just a bit of a **** way to do it.

Also, Suzi's post questions with David and everyone else are pooor. Awfully poor. I want jake back :(
