Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

Why oh why could Mercedes not have employed you to call the strategy drukenmaster?

They called and made an offer but it wasn't enough.

Why do people all suggest that if you aren't involved you can't have a good or sensible opinion. When others said Vettel had it I said if Hamilton two stopped and raced at that pace he had a chance, I said Vettel wasn't screwed for not pitting when others all said he was AND I said I worried Merc would attempt the tried and failed method of attempting to go at a 1 stop pace but ending up 2 stopping and not being fast enough by dropping 0.5-1 second a lap during that long hard tire stint.

Which is precisely how the race played out by the way, like, exactly. I said this long before Hamilton's tires went off or the safety car had even come in. This has happened time and time again in races, not specifically the safety car pitting but going ultra slow to eek out a stint that you can't make anyway.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this race, after Australia's grimness.
Been enjoyable to watch all the way through.
McLaren seemed to be doing a bit better, hopefully they keep up with the improvements. :)

I think it will be back to OZ standards in the next race, I think they took too much for granted and think about it a bit harder. They seemed to think they could run whatever tyre they wanted at any time and still win.

Bare in mind that James Allison said the gap of 30 seconds was not a reality as Aus wasn't conducive to overtaking and Ferrari were held up.
