Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

A very well done to Vettel and Ferrari. Merc lost the race in Q1.

Why didn't they use the virtual safety car they keep talking about? Please no finger

Excluding Kimi due to the puncture, the rest of field were nearly 1:00 at best behind the leaders. Crazy

That is because SO many teams made such a monumentally awful strategy call. Attempting to one stop for so long, then a lot of teams attempted to two stop and still ended up on a 3 stop. So many poor calls. Seriously for at least the last 3 years going ultra slow has done nothing but made you ultra slow, it exceptionally rarely eeks out a stint to give you one less stop... but trying this in 60c track temps at the hottest race in years.. Honestly people should be fired over how stupid a decision that was... though some probably took their lead from Mercedes.

According to that FOM image, Hamilton's now driving a Ferrari and Vettel a Mercedes....

Been wrong all day. Also had Verstappen driving a Force India, Bottas in a Red Bull, Kvyat in a Williams..

Great result, moany really can't stand not winning can he :D

Nice to see a Ferrari win, but going by posts it just sounds like Mercedes screwed up today on their strategy. Would love to see Mercedes and Ferrari fighting it out this season though.

I wonder if they want to avoid using them early in the race. It's up to the drivers to respond and manage their speed, so if everyone is bunched up it could get messy and they could have a sorts of penalties and accusations of people not slowing early enough?

Good result, Vettel has impressed this year, and I am easily unimpressed.

Merc misjudged tyre use completely.
