Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

I do like that there is more competition, it was very clear that Ferrari made a huge step in winter testing, the engine was significantly more powerful but it's not the only place they've improved.

They have however been rumoured to have increased their budget from 270mil to 370mil for this season, which will in large part be invested last year in development of this years car.

The biggest issue their car had last year was electrical power, the engine guys developing it utterly underestimated how important ers power and the mgu-h particularly was, this year the biggest engine change was that. They can get good pace every lap rather than one lap in 5, huge difference.

Yes please. Also, pardon me for expressing myself. In the future I'll be sure to express yourself.

I'm completely neutral re: Mercedes/Hamilton, but you do realise that you come across like a bit of a fanboy don't you? *preparing for some retort about expressing yourself, again* Funny how you don't accept others expressing their opinions when they're critical of Mercedes.

Basically, lighten up! :)

You want to milk me?

You really are upset about this aren't you. Lol.

Why would I want to milk you ? Bit weird. Anyway, yes I'm upset you are right. I wanted Lewis to win and he only managed 2nd. A German in a Ferrari winning was a hard pill to swallow. I'm sure things will get better though as the season progresses.

Damn it missed the last 13 laps; had to take the girlfriend to work!! How far behind was Hamilton in the end??

It was 10 seconds in the final corner before Vettel celebrated before the line.

Vettel did a 1:44:7 vs Hamilton 1:45 on their final quick laps last I read.

About 10 seconds, ultimately I think most cars went a few laps into the final stint then gave up and held position. Hamilton put in a couple of stonking laps that could likely have closed the gap however, it's possible the engine would have overheated on those laps and it wasn't possible to go that fast every lap, maybe they didn't have the fuel to do it. Maybe they just thought they couldn't close the gap so saved engine life. Not always easy to call why the gap at the end is why it is that big or small. He was closing and had fresher tires and put in some epic laps but then stopped closing, it certainly felt like they stopped trying to gain but the reason is unclear.

With lighter tanks and a rubbered track I doubt it will be much slower.

Finger boy to win by ~5s is my bet.

Well I was a few seconds off but the fact that merc couldn't see this happening when every fan at home did suddenly reminded me of why I gave up on McLaren.

Yes I'm a Lewis fan. Does that make me a bad person ? Am I not allowed to vent my frustration when Lewis does not win ? Why should I lighten up ? Should I go through life always pretending I'm not upset ? I'm honest. When I'm happy, I say so. When I'm not, I say so. Who are you to tell me to lighten up ? Are you the one person on earth who never gets upset ever ? ;)

In your opinion.

Really ? Sorry I hadn't realised you'd polled all 7 billion people on this subject.

Ok. I can answer each question. No you're not a bad person for supporting Lewis. Yes you are allowed to vent your frustration. No you shouldn't pretend you're not upset. I am me, suggesting that you could lighten up. No I also get upset.

But none of these were the point I was making. :)

Thanks for understanding. At least someone here isn't nuts. :D

Sheesh, it was a bit of banter about expressing me, a la meet the parents.

There's being disappointed your hero didn't win and then there's being bitter someone else did.
