Malaysian Grand Prix 2015, Kuala Lumpur - Race 2/19

Watching in on BBC is really showing up how bad the Sky F1 feed is. Such terrible quality unless you pay for the HD feed.

Why would you pay for Sky Sports and not add the HD pack on?

Unless your comparing BBC HD with an SD Sky web stream, which is rather an unfair comparison :p. The Sky HD feed is crisp.

No timings or graphics on-screen at all now. Live timing app is also playing up. WTF FOM?!

App is working here.

It's not great, but it's working.

Can't fit all the drivers on a 2560x1600 screen in portrait, commentary appears in bubbles behind the bar that controls the size of the map, just sluggish today.

If you use the website though, someone has found a little hack to make it more usable. :D

Fix to make the web timing more usable. Inspect Element. Select SP_leaderboardrow and untick 'height: 51px;' @f1

Seems to work.

Are Manor even going to last the season? They're so far back!

McLaren have closed the gap from last race, by the look of it, so that's something.

It's hard to say, difficult to say what times they'd be doing in Q3, likely to be wet I suspect. Merc were so comfortable they certainly weren't close to top speed and neither were Ferrari/Williams.

Yeah, saw this coming easily, stacking up and desperate to get a lap in for Q2 asap. Though trouble is if rain is early enough some of these cars could quite easily not make it back to the pits. They need 3 laps clear or rain and those clouds look pretty damn close.

Even more is with the traffic it could be plenty of guys getting compromised laps then not having another chance before it starts raining somewhere on track.

What time is it in Malaysia? Have they moved it back to a sensible local time and we're just unlucky on rain or have they stupidly put it later and into the rain times again.

I think the time did come forward an hour maybe, I don't know.

I actually don't really get the fly away races, Australia is a bad over taking track so isn't a good advert to start the season off, Malaysia is often ruined by weather..... it's a bad way to start the season if you ask me.

EDIT:_ yup, saw that Hamilton was having traffic issues for sure.
