Still not as good as actually starting from the front and most likely winning is it though. If he starts from the front and has no technical issues - he is pretty much only racing Rosberg.

Of course not, I was just saying that all of the bad luck he still only finished off the podium once, such is the dominance of the car. For all the engine parts he'd used, he was meant to take the pain in Spa, but in the end there was very little pain to take due to the huge slice of luck he had.

Software could easily be programmed to recognise that a race was in progress,

I'm not saying there is a conspiracy, but some of the things that have gone on in the world, anything could be true.

We will never know,

But if Renault hadn't cheated to give Nando the win , Massa would have had a WC and Hammi would still be on two at best.

I enjoyed the race. Good to see DR win it. He deserved one win at least this year. Lol at the shoe drinking!

Did like NR move. Fair penalty. I wonder if that gave that penalty to spice up the end? It's a penalty that doesn't set the precedent to not overtake.

As races go in the new f1 and it was dry it was good.

I wouldn't say it is accurate at all. You can bet yourself the supplied Mercedes engines to the other teams are not 100% of the ones Mercedes use.

Rosberg was unlucky in today's race but that was obviously wiped out by Hamilton's worse luck.

Not really because when Rosberg usually has "bad luck" LH usually scores full points as he is in the lead, LH lucked in a little today that on the day he had engine failure a Ferreri hit his team mate on the first corner, so he only finished third

Just think how much worse it would look if Rosberg got another 10 points for winning the race....

Don't know which race you was watching as Hamilton stayed about 1.8 seconds in front
until the team told him to pick up the pace, which he did.

This is the problem at the moment. A large portion of the F1 fan base want rosberg to win this way. I want to see a straight fight, no car issues involved. Not going to happen now though.

At the end of the day, whoever gets the most points wins. Not whoever's had the fewest technical problems, not whoever's most the most 'wheel-to-wheel' battles..

And how often do we see genuinely good scraps any more? Brief flash today between Max and Ricciardo but not every race. Usually it's press the magic flap button and away you go.
