It was a joke! He's very helpful, I do stand by the fact he has an advantage with all the phones he can afford to buy though.

He's actually one of the very few people that can use all the different platforms, and not bitch about how rubbish all the others are, but instead stay neutral to them all.

I know bro, just messing I don't even go into those forums but the praise does seep over into some of the other ones I do frequent, even if I don't post there. It'd be nice to see Spie give it to someone who the community respect and admire which, I think, was what Castiel was talking about.

Due to an unfortunate rise of boredom during my free time recently, I've only just started posting in GD and I'm under no illusion that my opinion probably won't mean much to anyone. Either way, i'm sure this whole man of honour thing will be given to the right person without it becoming a popularity contest. I think, as mentioned by others, giving everyone the chance to vote will do just that and so it would probably be best if only the moderators/previous men of honor voted.

After all, as the churchdawg himself once said:

“The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.”

Yeah I gathered that much. I thought this thread was suggesting that the members take a vote instead? I was just expressing my opinion on why I think that's a bad idea. Maybe I've missed the point somewhere :s
