Man vs Food

America, and California, has so many great small breweries. Such a shame to see you drinking Bud Light :(.

That carrot cake looks great, I love carrot cake so much.

I do like bud light, but there was not a huge choice in the restaurant, I had also walked 4 miles in 100f heat to get there so was very thirsty, which is the reason there was 2!

If he's goes to the UK, he should have a crack at this.

Reckon he could do it though.

That is one huge meal! That would easily feed a family of four!

Mind you, throw in 10 potato scones as well and I'd give it a go! :D

If you don't eat it, the above breakfast only costs £10.95?? What the hell is in the sausages?

its reclaimed meat from when a past challenger has failed ,the meat ends up back on the table before its had chance to be disgested and it is now ready to be recyled

Evening,

Are many of you fans of the 'Man VS Food' tv show that's currently bombarding Dave on tv?

I absolutely love it, the generally over excitedness of Americans keeps me amused while I just sit and drool at some of the food they have on there!!! Mmmmmm

I don't know how this guy hasn't had a heart attack yet since the majority of stuff he eats has at least 2lbs of melted cheese on it :p

Do any of you think you would be able to beat some of the challenges? I wouldn't have half a chance at most such as the burgers etc but the steaks....ohhhh my gooodddddd the steaks!! They look AWESOME!!

It's a cracking program but for the whooping and general US craziness etc during his challenges :D

I'd like to have a go at the Big food challenges rather than the hot sauce type food, can you imagine the heart-burn he must get

I think I'd read on the tinterweb somewhere that he goes on an exercise bike for a bit about an hour after each challenge but he definitely gets a little chubbier as the seasons go on :D

There's no way I could attempt the 'worlds hottest ribs' type challenge as I just wouldn't enjoy the foods. Give me half a grilled cow and some fries and we'll see what happens :D

I'm not surprised he has to build up an appetite, some of the challenges have around 6000 calories !!!

FYI it's on Dave for the next few hours.

A lot of the challanges look pretty amazing. Like the Italian Challange or the Mount Nacheeso challange.

Dont think I could handle the giant omelette or steak ones though. Or the uber spicy ones.

mvf is great iv seen nearly all of the episodes, This country needs more places like they have in the USA. As for the challenges I couldn't do them but there are some that I would try.
Adam Richman was on Radio 1 with Fern Cotton last year and she asked how he is not super fat basically he basically said he has a challenge then sleeps, eats healthy and goes to the gym ALLOT!
And to top it all of he is suppose to be doing some sort of world MVF program.

It's brilliant plenty of fatty rubbish. But there's also a load of decent BBQ and other dishes well done in an old technique.

Man v food nation was out over a year ago and I still haven't seen any talk of a uk release date.
