Big enough ones can make quite a bang but never heard of anyone being killed by one though. Blown ear drums.
Are you sure about that, because the stories that are starting to come out from people who were there are saying something different, like security guards turning people away from the lobby seconds before an explosion etc (Daily Mail report) so with no verified story yet it's a bit odd to claim you know whats happened isn't it?

Not really as depending on where you are in the crowd, you'll see things different from being closer to the event... Hear a bang, people screaming, running etc

That may be the case but the image of a bomb disposal van isn't confirmation of anything.

Yep, remember once back in school the bomb disposal squad kindly turned up and blew up some kids lunchbox after it was called in as a bomb. Was a strange day sitting in the classrooms curtains drawn but not having lessons.

Was a tiny crater there for years till they planted a tree in it.

Thinking about it, it'd have to be some explosion to be heard outside of the arena and a few streets away. Sounds like the foyer area too.

Not sounding good...

The current info I've seen is that it was an explosion by the Ticket office, a woman on Facebook said the explosion went off just in front of her as she was leaving.

Twitter is saying 23 dead, but take it with a truck load of salt, police haven't confirmed anything at all yet.

There are a lot of what I guess helium balloons, so possible a canister/s at the entrance going up.

But it looks like a more likely to be more some sort of attack. :/

Doubt it. Helium isn't combustible so would only be a pressure thing. And they never explode
