Some news sources suggest a bomb at Victoria metro station is where the bomb squad are heading
They said no-one was checking bags for some reason.
Saying that could also be someone who wanted some air time.

There's a joke in there somewhere given what happened to him, but definitely not the right time.
One of their correspondents, Keir Simmons, is a former UK home affairs/crime hack. He would be well placed to find out.Not sure why NBC would know this, but:
NBC News: Law enforcement officials say at least 20 dead and hundreds have been injured following reports of an explosion in Manchester, UK.
Armed police also dragging someone out of a car
If it is a bomb, how the hell did they get it in? I thought all bags and things were thoroughly checked?

He sounds pretty good for someone having been thrown 30ft through some doors . Surely the force required for that would hospitalise someone .
Can't even imagine what all these families are going through right now .
From the interviews it sounds like they spotted a bomb threat before it went off, seems like security were trying to stop people from entering the area (maybe bomb squad on their way already?) but it was too late.
I was thinking the same. 30 feet?!
