Manchester Meet-Up

Ok, first post has been edited a little, paradigm and firestar, I've added you two to MSN. :) Many thanks to you both for the help with this meet, especially to you Firestar for sending e-mails to other members.

NickXX actually lives down in London, and I think he was coming up to Manchester in September to see some mates. I doubt he'll be able to make it to this meet, but Nick, if you can, catch me on MSN.

P.S. Jon is called Dynabol over here :)
 
No idea about Dynabol. I think he was going to get a ride with NickXX when he came down, as I don't think Dynabol has a car yet. I could be mistaken though and will catch Nick on MSN tonight.
 
That's great news Coco :)

If everyone adds me to their MSN lists, I'll add you all and start a group convo in a couple of days. That way, everyone else can grab other peoples' addresses from the convo, and would save a lot of time giving the MSN addy out to lots of different people.

Looking forward to this meet even more... just hope I can get the time off work now :eek: :p

Oh, Coco, cymatty knows some good routes, so we're leaving it up to him to make sure we don't get lost. :)
 
;) That could work, but as I work in a pub on Sunday I can just get someone else to cover my shift for me. I could just not turn up at all as I plan to leave in the next few months anyway, heh.

Oh, just heard from Braeden. He's good to go, so that's 6 of us so far, with a possible 7.
 
Booking a meal sounds like a good idea. Of course, we would have to get a good indication of how many people would be turning up.

What kind of place are you thinking of?
 
Sorry I'm late guys... been out on a drive tonight... boy do those cheapo tyres hold up well when they're warm :D

cymatty, thanks for the link on the service station, I'll get that link posted up in the first post right away. Those services don't actually appear to be that far away from me. I mean, we're actually talking about a 5 minute drive :)

Oh, something I forgot to add... booked the day off work today. I'm a definite :)

Just remembered Friday night is my mates birthday party, so that's not a good time for me :(
 
Well, we're having the party at the pub that I work at (it's the boss's son's birthday) so I would get home from the first job at about 3:30, and then have to go out to the pub at about 4:30.

Hmmm, would Thursday night be better for anyone?

That sounds good to me also. I finish work at 8 on Thursday, so would get home around the same time as you.

How's everyone else fixed up for Thursday evening?

Not been on MSN much at all, so haven't had a chance to speak to NickXX. He lives down in London though so it's doubtful, but I'll definitely ask him before Thursday :)

cymatty, awesome planning there matey. You've really put in a hell of a lot of work into this. I'm sure it's going to be an awesome meet. The picture of the road you posted looks crazy! 0-60 runs anyone? :D

Sorry! Was on a late shift at the pub last night, and was working today.

Ok, first post has been updated somewhat. Coco, any news mate? I really want to see your name in the attendee list :p

If paulspiteri turns up, the Rover owners will pwn j00 frenchies :D At least, I hope he turns up, I'll be quite scared surrounded by Saxo's and Clio's.

Numbers are looking good though now. Who's missing from the attendee list on the first page?

So, made up with the girlfriend today, mates birthday party on Friday, this meet on Sunday... I'm feeling on top of the world :D

As regards to the MSN meet, tomorrow night, 9:30pm if it's ok with everyone else. If anybody wants to be in the convo, add me to your MSN list before tomorrow night. :)

Ok, for anyone who can't attend the MSN meeting, I'll save the convo when it's finished, edit out the important bits, and post them here.

I'm guessing that everyone on the 'Attendee' list can now 100% attend. If anyone is on the possible's list but can definitely attend, or someone on the 'Attendee' list can't make it on Sunday, post in here and I'll see to that ASAP.
