No idea who he supports but he certainly doesn't seem to use his linesman very effectively seeming to simply prefer to make up his own mind rather than consulting with his assistants.

To be fair, it was a dodgy challenge. It was two footed and in a sense he was lucky that Meireles pulled out or it could've been a potential leg breaker. Not worthy of a red as it transpired though.

Man Utd want a few no questions asked goals. Would feel bit lame winning the game on a pen... the way we got it as well.

I'm not even sure it was that dangerous imo, I think it looked worse the fact that Meireles pulled out so early (lol).
