Nope, beautiful car, but the way forward when you're a high mileage petrol head with a family is to buy two cars. :p

Or do a Bobbler and buy a mobile home rocket :D , but I need something newish because of a clause in my car allowance at work.

I may have missed it, so apologise if you've already status - whats the weekend car going to be? An Elise of some sort?

Not got the foggiest atm.

Would prefer something light and chuckable.
 
Elise S1 = 690kg
Even with the bog standard K20 engine putting out circa 200BHP it's gonna be serious fun and you know better than almost anyone on here just what the K20 is capable of.

If you've never driven an Elise I seriously recommmend it though, the handling is like nothing else I've ever driven.

talking of elises there was an awesome one at the pod on sunday that ran 11's!

still waiting to hear what he had under the hood, couldnt hear a turbo or SC so im presuming it was a *** induced beast

You sure he didn't have a 306 turbo diesel engine in there?
