Does anybody else just love watching Maradona on the sidelines. I find myself rooting for Argentina for his sake. Obviously he has great squad of players to pick including probably the worlds best player, but he seems so involved unlike some other managers you see. When they show the training sessions and he's playing in defence and getting involved just like a player.

I can only imagine what the interviews after games are like for Argentina TV.

If like me you've seen the World Cup 86 footage a hundred times you may find this montage vid from his Napoli days entertaining.

And a video featuring some awesome passes

I've enjoyed watching him too, seems to have a unique managing style and he actually cares passionately unlike many of the managers.

The funniest moment i saw involving Maradona was when he chased that referee around the pitch swearing at him when he was manager of Boca Juniors but can't find a clip of it anywhere.:(

Maradona is just pure awesomeness...in the last game where they spanked the South Koreans...he gave each and everyone of his players a big fat kiss:p.

Love the guy and think hes an awesome character...hes got the Argies playing some absolutely lovely football at the moment and shows a hell of a lot of passion when hes on the sidelines.

Argies are definitely a dark horse in this WC.

you have no idea what dark horse means at all, do you? :D

A "dark horse" is a term used internationally to describe a little-known person or thing that emerges to prominence

Describes Argentina perfectly for me...barely qualified for the WC and are now showing what they are capable of...i mean most people wrote them off at the start of the WC but they are looking pretty damn good.

One things for sure they would spank England all over the pitch if England played the way they did last night.

Overall they have a good record, but then 20 years is a long time, however not exactly a dark horse. 2 Is still more than most.

Argentina is no dark horse!!!!

A team like South Africa sure...

Calm down and put your knickers back into the drawer:p lol

For me Argentina is a dark horse...i dont expect anyone else to agree with me but with the qualifying they had...i was surprised to see them make it to the WC finals.

Just reading the Dail Fail as im bored lol...and came across this gem of a line about Maradona:p

He bounces up and down on the touchline with that silver beard and bottle-black hair, looking like the product of an illicit union between Eric Cantona and a Tasmanian Devil

:D:D
