Marvel Heroes

Both of them give the same boosts we've gotten pretty much every weekend for the past few months. One of them (I think BOUNTY) is a single potion that gives a huge RIF/SIF boost, the other is the standard weekend code assortment of iridium bars.
 
I've only played her to about 30 and she seems fun enough so far. Might have to delve on the official forums if you're worried about cosmic terminal soloing and the like though.
 
To be fair I'm maxing Cap before I move on to anyone but no idea who. Like the idea of Invisible Woman, Nightcrawler, Thor or Deadpool.

Is level cap 50?
 
Max level is currently 60 of which I've still yet to reach on any of my many many toon's :p

I love Deadpool, he's worth buying just to hear his many quip's when standing around other hero's as some of his one-liners are proper laugh out loud stuff.

My current faves are Rocket, Ghost Rider and Black Widow especially now she has been massively buffed!

Looking forward to Psylocke, just hope they don't mess her up from the off.
 
Oooh Psylocke is good! Always liked her character. Mr Fantastic would be good to see too.

So many heroes I want to see actually like Iceman, Iceman, Iceman, Sentry, Iceman, Magick, Iceman, Warpath, Iceman, Cannonball and maybe Iceman too.
 
It's all about Norrin Radd !!! He's my most wanted hero in the game and probably the coolest of them all, I want to surf around everywhere !!

I have Magik following me around, cracking little tank and some of her summons look great :D

Be warned, Surfer will be 600 Splinters.

Only six more heroes for me to complete my set now: Cable, Colossus, Gambit, Ms Marvel, Rocket and Thor. I have 250 Splinters in the bank, so bad accents and/or bad characters are not far away (unless I buy Ms M).

I grabbed Taskmaster and Invisible Woman with splinters which left me with about 200+ :p I fully expect to see a million Rocket Racoon's about when GoTG is released, that and he's an awesome farming machine ! Groot !!

I'll probably buy Silver Surfer pre-order and hopefully have enough splinters for our British babe Psylocke, hopefully 400 splinters as surely she can't be a 600 !!
 
Thinking about giving this a go, tried getting back into gw2 over the weekend but wasn't really feeling it.

Any tips on where to start (Servers/classes ect)

There's a bunch of free starter hero's '' Luke Cage Punisher Captain America Black Panther Black Widow Human Torch Colossus Storm Hawkeye ''

Make an account here > Marvel Heroes < and then login to the game. You can only pick one free hero so choose wisely, check the forums and read up on the one that tickles your fancy or ask here.

You will earn splinters every 5-10mins which can be used for various things, mainly new free hero's which range from 200-600 splinters.

The best thing to do is just jump into the game and follow the story, you will level quick fast early on and if you need tips on builds again ask away, hf !

There are no servers. Your first hero really doesn't matter much except you shouldn't pick Hawkeye. Luke Cage is a good starter for three reasons:

1) He has a passive which makes more money drop. 1 point is all you need in it, though.

2) He is fairly strong and fairly easy to learn. (Tip: pick Cage Fighting as your finisher.)

3) He will cost 400 Splinters to buy later.

If you're not feeling him by the time you kill Doom, you'll have 200+ Splinters from completing story quests and can buy either a Random Hero Box (warning: can contain a hero you already have) or Black Widow, who is insanely good right now.

If you don't like your first Hero and your first Random Box gives you a duplicate or Thing (who is awful and desperately needs his 52 review), create a new account and try someone new!
 
I thought Cage was ultra dull, haven't got him past level 10 so far and wouldn't really recommend him as a good starter unless your a fan of his.

In more exciting news Psylocke pre-sale pack has been released :p I do hope it's £10 well spent !!

New event, new content and other stuff patched in today !!
 
Is this right? I went to play this a couple of days back and it needed a 1.1GB patch, I fire it up today and it says it needs yet another patch of the same size.
 
Cap is a good starter hero.

I had a strange experience last night, was online with a rare item find booster for around 60-70mins and not a single infinity splinter dropped. Have I been shafted? :p
 
Right so I've put a few hours into this now on lvl 20 with Cap. Just been working through on my own till now so have a few questions.

Is there a way to hot key the second row of powers (usually pressing alt + power or ctrl)?
How do I team up with other people?
3 whats the best thing to do with dropped item? (I constantly have a full inventory of shields / suits / masks ect)
Does ocuk have a group / clan to join?
