Marvel Heroes

For the code go onto the website, for the hero box login to the game, I have two accounts one with the thing, hawk eye and the witch and I got the thing in the box, on my other account punisher and hawkeye and I got hawkeye in the box so imo its a waste of time.

Come on it quite clearly states 'a free starter hero' which for some will mean a new class to play for others it's a free level for their ultimate skill, something for nothing is not a waste ! humbug ! :p

Yeah there is a selection of beginner heroes but I just so happen to get the two ive already got, really annoying.
 
So the April 1st thread about Taskmaster > here < being the next playable char was funny, until they decided to release him today :p

Origin

The man who would become the Taskmaster was born a prodigious savant of mnemonic talents. He discovered his unusual abilities in childhood when, after watching a cowboy television program, he found he could duplicate the rope tricks he had seen the actors perform. Growing to understand his ability, he saw a man perform a difficult backwards leap from a diving board; he duplicated the dive, but nearly drowned because he didn’t know how to swim. :D:p

So basically, he has skills from Spiderman - Hawkeye - Cpt America and others and costs 200 splinters!
 
On the main website > REDEEM KEY > RECRUIT and you'll get one free retcon, one Iridium triple boost 2hours and one iridium triple rush token. It was for the last weekends promotion but still works.
 
There's a load of codes in play at the moment, compiled the following from in game chat and the ones I've redeemed (can't speak for anyone else but I never seem to get the emails about them)

SPRCNDY2 - Some kind of boost (given the code name presumably the same type as last weeks)
InfiniteRetconWeek - Free Retcon device for respeccing (this week retcon devices aren't consumed on use so people can play with rebuilding their characters after the attribute reworks in this patch)
RNDMCSTM (as listed by eekfek, free costume)
RNDMHRO (free hero)
PEWPEWPEW - Triple Iridum bar
VENGEANCE - Triple Iridum bar

Not a bad weekend they've got going on here, loads of previous weekend events are re-enabled all at once plus free hero/costume codes. Got Doc Strange out of the hero one and FF Spidey out of the costume one. Think I'll stack all those Iridium ones together and grind X-def when the fear the reaper XP bonus is on X-def/holo sim.
 
I gotta admit, Gaz are the most on the ball F2P devs ever. I don't see how anyone could complain about how they have been running this game. SO much content just given away for free.

Admittedly we're in a never ending cycle of buffs and nerfs so it might not stay that way, but right now she's pretty much a top tier character.

Now Cyclops from my latest random box, now that's a chore to play. Awesome synergy so I'll stick through getting him to 50 but a chore.
