Marvel Heroes

Tried this over the free weekend and thought it terrible. Dreadful control method means it's night on iompossible to move and shoot at the same time making it either 'Stand and duke it out' or 'run around avoiding fire but don't do any damage'. I was hoping for something akin to Smash TV on the controls. Seems pretty poor to me but then I only did the tutorial thingy and got up to Living Laser where the control 'method' made very a very frustrating time.

It's the same control method as Diablo 2 (spiritual successor n whatnot).
 
I have had to reinstall as I was getting too many of the client installer crashses (forgotten the DL client name now .. Bit something)

Its now also downloading in my steam which is odd? Hope its not double the space taken up my poor 256GB SSD wont cope with much more ...
 
I dunno if I should shell out the £40quid for this or not tbh. Looks like it could be fun but looks quite basic all at the same time (not sure if that's a good thing or not)

Deadpool premium pack looks cool though that or the X-Force pack <3 Deadpool !

I'd have tried it first to be honest, i did and didn't really like it. I'll give it another go when it comes out but i am not holding my breath and will probably feel the same.

I did give it a brief go, didn't have much time last weekend while the beta was open to play.

Might just cough up the 40quid its not the end of the world I guess. Haven't bought a PC game for ages ! lol
 
I've been in the beta for a few months now and have been on the fence about the game, I really want to like it because.... It's Marvel.

But the quality of the game, at least for me, has been a little underwhelming, I know it is beta but my major gripes so far...

- Balance has been pretty bad,
- The cost of a hero does not reflect quality and only represents popularity,
- Poorly laid out skill trees,
- Still can't stack crafting items

etc

I don't know how much faith I have in the company that is making this game, regardless of David Brevik working on Diablo.

Having said all that, The game is by no means terrible and I think the latest big patch has changed a lot for the better, so some of my concern may be misplaced, but I've not fully tested it out yet.

I still haven't dropped any money on a pack and I think I'm gonna hold off for a while still.

My 2 cents, for what it's worth. :p

My bank security just earned a double facepalm. Blocked my attempt to purchase the ultimate pack on grounds of the charge originating from the USA (btw, don't use pay pal, their conversion rate rips you off!), and on my second attempt to purchase the said pack, the discount code no longer worked -.-...Thanks Barclays.
