What n7 rating are you and what difficulty are you trying to play?

If you join silver/bronze there should be no problem with others leaving the team/kicking even with a low rating(unless its a different story on the consoles). But joining gold with a low n7 rating with a random team who isn't confident of their own abilities will probably cause the group to disband/kick.

If your loadout is a black widow and typhoon as a human adept you're bringing it on yourself :p
 
N7 rating somewhere in the 4000s, only really need the Geth Spitfire weapons wise and I'm done, yet it still torments me so Lol

I mainly play Gold with Infi / Saber combo or silver for giggles. Won a match as a Kroguard last week without firing a shot!
 
I can't speak from personal experience, being on the PC, but I thought there were many 360 players still playing - at least on the BW forum it seems that way.

Maybe you could try here? Might find some console players.

Ah, I thought you were a new player trying to get into MP, nevermind :D

Never heard of players leaving the lobby as someones n7 level was too high.
 
btw just playing through me2 and 3 again, if you choose the sole survivor trait, when miranda asks about akuse she says your squad was killed by a thresher maw. In the illusive man's base when you are watching the video clips of the lazarus project the guy that the illusive man talks to says your squad was wiped out by a cerberus team.....ummmm what? that doesnt match

There's a bit of an explanation here.

Basically Cerberus tested some kind of beacon which drew threshers to the colony and they massacred the marines.
 
Finally got round to playing through this. My main question; is there a point towards the end of the game that 'triggers' the final battle (if there is one..), that should be avoided until certain other missions are done? e.g.

In Mass Effect 2, if you hadn't done the personal missions for your squad mates, then they would probably die in the final battle.

Is there anything like that in in ME3? I don't want to miss anything

no for the end all you need is an EMS of 3100 or more to unlock all the possible ending and the perfect ending.
 
Once you begin the attack on the Illusive man's Cerberus base you are locked in towards the disappointing ending though iirc.

the end isnt that bad, the extended cut has fixed a lot of the problems. my only issue with the end was that it was the end until 4. The 1st ending was bad as it basically is the same ending with a colour swap and no explanation of what happens on the alien planets. The extended cut ending fixed a lot of the problems the ending had.

As said once you start the Cerberus HQ mission you are locked in until the end.

Also worth mentioning a lot of the sidequests become unable to be completed after certain missions, if trying to do every single mission its probably best to visit the citadel after every mission and see what you can hand in and/or pick up.

This is correct. Some of the paragon/renegade choices are also buried past seemingly pointless chitchat dialog options as well.
 
is there anything like a mass effect fan club etc? I know of the mods etc and all the other merchandise but felt this is something that needs to be done so we NEVER

forget shepard and this awesome series

Yes I know I know, ME isn't dead but this storyline is...
 
If there's ever going to be another Mass Effect game, I don't want it to be about Shepard. His/her story is concluded, I want to see someone else take up the mantle of supreme galactic badass. I wouldn't mind a few cameos from some of Shepard's squad-mates though.
 
The problem with any of his squad mates doing cameo is that they have to fit in with the current storyline aka 'what happened after' which would mean resolving the Shepard storyline further.
