Would agree though, they've not had a very good track record recently. Dragon Age II was largely hated upon.

We'll see if they've turned this around with ME3, I'm willing to take the hit for £35 to find out, least then if its pap I've put my money where my mouth is and I'll be entitled to complain..!! :D

My thoughts really. ME2 had many good changes from ME but they also did some badly so it balanced out into a good game. The DLC was a little too numerous but the Cerberus Network at least gave you some of it for free and the other ones were reasonably priced. Then it took a massive downhill trend with the last DLC which was widely regarded as absolutely dire (so I didn't waste my money on it), then you had DLC that should clearly should've been free with the Cerberus Network popping up as premium DLC and the whole Dragon Age 2 fiasco.

I'm not willing to bet on ME3. Especially not when its so obvious the game is being overhyped in an attempt to milk as much money as they can from DLC content.

Have you played them before or not at all yet?

I'm actually currently replaying the 2nd (finished the first a few days ago) und since I spoilered the endings for myself I can cherish every moment of it and will cherish every moment of ME3 before the end.
 
Played them many times. For some reason I can't find the motivation this time round. Haven't played the first for quite a while as well. I am finding it a lot slower than I remembered.

I am thinking it will get better when I move on to 2 though.

ATM I am on Noveria (not done Feros yet) and I have been playing for over 2 weeks!

I know what you mean. Took me quite some time to finish the first this last time. Though I still enjoyed the main story moments, esp. sovereign and vigil.

Launch trailer is very good. Not sure about the choice of music - ME2's launch trailer had the best music I think. But amazing apart from that (if you look past the constant explosions).
