*** Mass Effect 3 ***

Hey Guys, been waiting for this game...Finished 1st and 2nd parts too times with different paths.

Interested in Multiplayer/ Co-op and how will it work? Is there any differences between singleplayer and co-op apart of 4 players? (will ranks/ weapons/ etc be the same) ?

what is the cheapest price and best place to buy? )

Cheapest i've seen so far is Amazon for just under £30. Any where else cheaper?

Amazon is quoting £2 delivery to 'guarantee' getting it on the day. Asda direct is quoting £30 but free delivery to get by release date if ordered 5 days in advance (Sunday by my maths). And therefore not a sure fire fixed day delivery.

I'd prefer not to wait in for delivery - let alone not be sure of the exact day. And normally Steam wins because of this. But this time I actually want a boxed copy. I've not used Origin before, and am not inclined to support them in the same way as I do Steam. So Amazon at £32 it is.

Unless anyone else can find a UK bricks and mortar thats allowing in store pre-ordering for collect on the day - or just guaranteeing to have some stock (regardless of cost)? Shame about Game :(

Does no one else feel that the Mass Effect games are not slightly over hyped?

I dont think they are as good as all the hysteria surrounding them.

Same, I'm really looking forward to the game, but the amount of products with 'DLC' with it is insane. $870 if you were to buy everything that came with DLC.

coop has little to do with single player. It contributes to the war effort but other than that its just a horde mode tacked on (I.e. You just have to survive 10 waves of enemies coming at you with a few random side objectives).

Oh, I thought it is something like LOTR: war in the north, where you go through single player/ story line with other players!

So...those of you who haven't cancelled pre-orders, where's the cheapest place for the plain old regular edition? I might buy the DLC on release, but it would just be buying that. Not bothered about all the extra stuff in the digital deluxe edition.

Coolshop seem to have it for £27.97. I'm tempted, but then I might just leave it till the price bombs after 6 weeks as it seems to do with BiowEAr these days.

Just had a thought, back when BF3 was coming out many of us used a proxy to get the game early on Origin.

Just wondering if we could do the same with ME3.

Yes, that's what I'm planning on doing.
That's if the game ever shows up in my ****ing list. I ordered it over a week ago and there's nothing there still.

not going to cancel my pre-order, its Mass Effect...... I've enjoyed both games and I'm sure i'll enjoy this just as much.

Does seem to be a lot of hate for Bioware and EA, although the DLC trick is a little poor, however what do we expect nowadays... These companies are out to make as much money as they can... Mass Effect is such a huge franchise, they'll milk it for all its worth - just hope ME3 is actually good...

Other companies have done just the same sadly, tomb raider and COD spring to mind..

Because everything they have put out since Lair of the Shadow Broker has been rubbish. Rubbish they have stood behind with their fingers in their ears going "lalalalala".

DLC antics aside, ME3 could buck their current trend of pap, but I wouldn't bet 30-55 squids on it.
