On another note Lots of annoyances about too much gay romance in ME3 :o

does anyone have any idea of how the previous romances come into play in ME3? I romanced the old deck chief in 2 and it said I have no romances in the save export....hmmmm.

doesnt matter anyway as the new deckchief is damn fine and my conquest to be.;)

Mp is very good in this game, can see myself playing it for a long time.

Deck Chief? If you mean Kelly Chambers she isn't actually a romance choice as such, she's more of a consolation prize if you decide not to romance anyone.

She does appear in ME3, more info in spoiler if you really want to know more (seriously, very spoilerific to your interests).

She is on the Citadel, however after it gets assaulted by Cerberus you hear a few people saying some of their troops found her, asked her name and then shot her.

Other romances:

If you romanced someone not part of your squad, so Thane, Jack, Jacob or Miranda, Jack and Jacob are part of N7 sidequests, Thane and Miranda are involved in the main quest.

I can't speak for the romances themselves apart from Jacks but I assume they are similar, with Jack you meet her during a mission and once after, in this time you can either carry on the romance or stop it.

None of the non quad romance choices join your team, you will see them on the Citadel or a few times after.

For the present squad mates, Liara, Garrus, Kaiden/Ashley and Tali, they all play out in such a way that you need to build upon them somewhat throughout the game, however they continue if you want them to.

Yeah, the game is actually pretty damn short in comparison with ME 1 and 2, this is mostly down to the mission structure and "Faffing About" choices. ME1 had the Mako stuff which took decades and ME2 had planet scanning which again took bloody decades.

The reason ME3 is so much short is that the majority of side missions take place in "Arena" style complexes rather than a standard A > B progression meaning they take maybe 5 minutes each, also the planet scanning takes no time at all (wrapping up a good 75% of it at the end of the game took me about 20 minutes).

I certainly didn't rush it either, as I said I completed all but 1 side quest and spoke to everyone at every opportunity.

I've been playing it none stop since 3 on Tuesday easily 20+ hours and im still no where near the end i think, my only gripe so far is the overheard conversations which lead to quests a lot of them don't tell you where to go can be frustrating at times, apart from that it is a fantastic game so far.

Done quite a bit of multiplayer as well and that's thoroughly enjoyable like the demo.

Completed in 23 hours, and i don't know what to think. the end was either amazing or a let down i cant decide :/.

I'm pretty disappointed as I loved the first two.

Shameful quality textures.
Lazy facial animations.
The default FOV is making me feel sick.
Female boob armour.
Lazy keybindings: press space to win.

giving the collector base to cerberus

they ignore that even though it's listed as a decision you made when importing from ME2.

EDIT: Not long after I posted this something came along and confirmed the decision that when referenced twice before sounded like it hadn't counted.

The only things I ccan say for sure is that you don't need to play MP if you don't want to, all it means is that you have to do most if not all of the side/quests and scanning.

That is a huge relief. I dont mind the side quests or scanning tbh. Just trying to find out whether I need to get the DLC!

Hrm, annoyed that this isn't going to be on Steam. I am reluctant to install anything I don't really need, and so far I've gotten away with not installing Origin on my gaming rig. I still have to finish DS2, Batman AC and The Witcher 2 so maybe waiting will pay off... :/

Origin is fairly harmless tbh. It is only when you have a problem and need to contact CS that you will want to go on a killing spree. The actual program is fine.
