meh, should have got my pre-order from shopto aswell, fing royal mail they are useless!!
 
I told myself I wouldn't get this because I knew I wouldn't play it for yonks (plus I'm semi-reluctant to install Origin), but I saw the Zavvi price (£27.95) a few minutes ago and that they've still got the pre-order DLC thing going, so I impulse bought it.

Though I have a massive headcace today, so might not play ME2 tonight so I might not start it tomorrow. Really enjoying ME2 this time around though.

I don't think people don't like the DLC so much as the fact that it should be part of the game rather than having to pay extra for it.

Tbh I don't see this being at all a "necessary" part of the story for the main game.

Once you have actually done the from ashes dlc the new squad member has very little impact (if at all) on the overarching story in the game.

It feels like they thought like this:

"Hey lets put in a *******"
"sounds cool bro"
"Oh wait we need to make sure he has as litle impact as possible to the story"
"Lets just do what we did with Zaeed!"

If you want to finish with any happiness left towards the ME series then wait until they fix the endings. Trust me.

A large percentile of the fan base thinks the same. The game itself was a 9/10, until the end, and that ending made it drop to a 6/10, that's how bad it is.

People will see when they get to it.

People are so desperate to get a better ending they are saying they will buy better endings, that's how desperate some of the fan base is because it's awful.

Ide put money on a happy ever after DLC being more than £10 should it ever see the light of day, they have a captive, exploitable audience, & they know it. :p
