*** Mass Effect 3 ***

Must admit, I've just finished the Tuchanka missions and the only bug I've had is getting stuck in the cockpit sometimes when talking to Joker! :P

I've not had any gameplay bugs yet.

The only issue I had is I have a 3.1 speaker set-up which ME3 detects as 5.1 (probably Windows fault to be fair) so half the dialogue was missing. Easy fix in system, a bit annoying that there's no option in the actual game itself though...
 
Bah!

Went out today to pick up a copy - can't find it *anywhere*. Those few stores that stock PC games don't even have ME3. Tried everywhere I could think of.

Looks like I'll have to go with GreenMan - not giving EA my money through Origin :D Or are there any cheaper sources?
 
By the way, just so people know, this is the original ending of Mass Effect 3, the 1 they ditched:
"The Reapers' goal was to find a way to stop the spread of Dark Energy which would eventually consume everything. That's why there was so much foreshadowing about Dark Energy in ME2.

The Reapers as a whole were 'nations' of people who had fused together in the most horrific way possible to help find a way to stop the spread of the Dark Energy. The real reason for the Human Reaper was supposed to be the Reapers saving throw because they had run out of time. Humanity in Mass Effect is supposedly unique because of it's genetic diversity and represented the universe's best chance at stopping Dark Energy's spread.

The original final choice was going to be "Kill the Reapers and put your faith in the races of the galaxy in finding another way to stop the spread with what little time is left" or "Sacrifice humanity, allowing them to be horrifically processed in hopes that the end result will justify the means."
 
This game looks interesting.

Do I need to play Mass effect 1 & 2 in order for mass effect 3 to make sense or I can just skip both of it?
 
Just finished it here. It wasn't that bad an ending I thought. However I've had little time to reflect on it as I'll be now restarting it with an ME2 import as the ME3 default non-import ME game variables are very poor.
 
Can you use a save editor to change specific things in the games?

For example, I would like to change my ME1 game so that I romanced Liara instead of Ashley, is that possible? I mean so that it has an effect on 3, will I have to edit 2 as well?

...Actually, I can't be arsed!


I've just got Arrival to do now, then I can finally star ME3! ....but I have football soon, so it might have to wait .....after worrying about getting it delivered on release day as well:rolleyes:
 
Just been messing about with the save editor. Completed ME3 with everyone surviving but have tried to change my romance options so that in ME1 I romanced Liara instead of Ashley, but didn't mess with ME2. Now to see if it has worked....

Why not just avoid any risk of snafus & dl a save game?.
