You guys are going to hate me, but I loved 3 the most. Loved them all mind and played them all many times (hundreds of hours). Personally I always found each one had its own merits and weaknesses.

Either way looking forward to the new one.

Well Bioware did literally destroy the last galaxy, poorly no less.

The issue here is, if this is another trilogy, will i be wasting my time for a below par ending again?

Nice to see the Hissing Wastes actually have a use at the start though.

Amazingly, after the amount of hours I put in to the trilogy, I don't feel much at all about this. DA:I showed me that Bioware don't care about characters anymore unfortunately, and I'll need a lot to get me excited about this.

But do you really play a game (or series of games) just for the ending? Sure it's an important part, but I don't think it's worth missing out a whole series just because an ending is sub-par.

Anyway, the name kind of suggests a standalone game to me - but we'll see I guess.

Massive fan of the series, but the ending of ME3 killed it all for me. Not really interested in the next installation tbh. After investing so much time into the storyline and lore only to see it destroyed that way left me with no faith in Bioware.

I guess that's the very reason why the decided to move to an entirely new galaxy for this new Mass Effect, as staying in the MW would've meant either retconning a huge chunk of the lore or making a prequel.

Yep. To tell what I regard as one of the greatest gaming scifi stories and to balls it up the way they did was quite sad. I'll keep an eye on the game as we get closer to release. I'm hoping we see some familiar races in ME4 and I really want to see the Rachni back!

I do if the initial premise of the trilogy was the closure of all the plotlines in a sensible manner...

They will try and create new interesting races but they will always be inferior to the Mass Effect universe that was already established. It's like they've already shot themselves in the foot. Hard to get too hyped for this. Would love to be wrong though.

We play as the 'Pathfinder' Protector(?) of the 'Ark' commander of the 'Tempest' (?) many years after the original trilogy and we may see some familiar Spieces and faces!!!! I guess Liara as an Asari could be possible :cool:

Take this all with a pinch of salt though... more like Truck load

as I guess we wont really know until 2016
