Mass Effect Legendary edition (Remastered 1,2 & 3)

Are you sure you got the comparisons the right way round?

Haha yeah I'm sure. It reminds me of the star wars dvd box set where they touched up the cgi effects (and added more). It was technically superior, but very garish and kind of ruined the atmosphere

Never played the originals, but i saw a video comparing them to the legendary edition and the originals looked better
you should just play andromida, complete rubbish, should give you a taste of what's to come in the re's, bar C&C all these re's have been flashy gfx and lite on gameplay, such a shame industry wide :P

C&C remaster looks fantastic, definitely getting that at some point

I was looking forward to this, it's been many years since I played ME3.

Found the trailer a bit underwhelming. Yeah, it's better looking but not by a big enough margin to actually pay for.

I feel like I'm not seeing what everyone else is seeing but I'm personally really excited to play these remasters. For all the games and all the DLC (bar one) included for £54 I think it's really good value in terms of £/Hour of entertainment.

Only thing I'm a bit annoyed about is getting punished for buying the game at release on Origin rather than years later on Steam and getting rewarded a discount

Yup, that is a strange one, I think many of us would have bought the steam version if it was available at launch. The reason I am not that excited is because I already have the games and most of the DLC and PCs being what they are I can still fire it up and play it now. I cannot see there being too many changes or upgrades outside what is available via mods but they could surprise me otherwise it will be picked up on a sale no doubt :p

If thats how it's working then yeah, that's some BS. Have all of them sat on Origin. If anything, we should get the discount for being original owners, rather than the other way around.

Yes if anything people who bought it on origin at launch should get a discount if a discount for me3 owners is being offered. Don't know about origin owners being any more deserving however.

All of this is assuming its ea offering the discount of course. If its valve offering the discount then... *shrug*? Also, you are giving no thought to steam me3 owner who would have bought the game less than a year ago - do you deserve a discount more than those guys, the guys who bought a game only to discover a remastered version was going to be release soon after? I bet they wouldn't feel the same as you :p
