Mass Effect Legendary edition (Remastered 1,2 & 3)

Pinnacle Station will be restored in no time. :D

Yeah this doesn't make sense why they couldn't do it. I know I have it backed up as a working download as I am sure many others could,

I think people saw the mods just as 4K but actually some of additional stories and locations etc were great. I have high hopes for the future of the modding of ME. After the MEA mess, the future is looking up, even if they screw up ME5!

Am I the only one that has zero interest in replaying these? ME2 will always have a special place in gaming for me , but the other two are just a bit meh for their own reasons.

I kinda feel these were games of their generation and don't really belong in 2021.

Perhaps because they set a standard that I am not sure any of this ‘new stuff’ has been able to beat!

I never really gelled with ME 1 on 360 and I tried it on PC using the ultrawide fixes and they just made the game look weird and stretched. I loved 2 and even enjoyed 3 but never played it before they changed the ending which I felt was OK.

AFAIK, the dlc downloads when you install ME. I don't think it'll be a case of just having the DLC files, Icewind Dale 2 springs to mind. The game exists and is out there (you can buy it on GoG) but they can't do a remaster it because the source files were lost :(

While true, 1/3 of it is 15 years old. ME2 is closer to the age some of the games in that list were when their remasters came out. I'm not saying they should be free, the list was simply just to show what others have done, and not everyone who has done a remaster has offered a discount, but considering they are to steam to me that seems wrong. People who bought the game before it went on steam, or chose to go Origin after it came out on steam, are penalised for doing so. Actually it's worse for the second group as EA may well have earnt more money from them buying off Origin then EA having to pay steam.
It even seems odd that they aren't doing a promotion on Origin, to push people to use that to be honest  Heck, maybe they will and it's not been announced yet. *shrugs*

Actually, that's not a bad shout! I'd be a bit shocked if they don't do a 40 quid version on Origin, as you say, to bring people to that... Interesting.

EA will take suggestions about pricing under advisement....
*some time later*
EA makes ME:LE only purchasable using BioWare 'Legendary Edition' Points :D

I mean some of us have it as a separate EXE still. Backed up and working.

Me neither! I assume there's something more too it, need someone who makes games to answer really. I don't think the DLC is that big, I wonder how feasible it'd be or long it'd take to just redo it from scratch.
