MasterChef - back, bigger, better?

I watched Australian Masterchef, on that channel it was on recently, and thought the format was good so I do like this format.

I was not happy when Elizabeth, the very cute girl for those with poor name retention ;), went out with her roast dinner.

I want the ****ing hippy veggie to go out ASAP. Will she cook anything with meat? I hope there's a meat dish challenge soon.

I don't mind the new format but Jesus as has been said don't start turning this into another xfactor with crying and stories of dead relatives. I couldn't give a **** I just want to see some good food dammit :o

As heartless as it sounds I wish the director just shouted 'cut that' everytime someone begins telling a story, or cries about a lost relative :p

Contestant: "This meal is what I would cook my father if he could have one more meal with me...."

Director:  "CUT THAT BIT!"

:D

I was excited about this new format when I heard about it. But, it's just annoying. I really miss the old format. This reminds me of American Hell's Kitchen.

I thoroughly enjoyed last years series, I spend most of these episodes cringing and browsing the web. Why is it only 5 mins of cooking per episode??? 55 mins of cheese

This is what really annoys me. You learn nothing about the food, only about the stack of **** lives that they lead. Yay, this is appealing.

Think the director does the opposite now - makes them stop cooking to tell a sob story. Probably just after they chopped onions.

One feature I found quite clever and amusing was the 'Silence the music for a split second to hear the sound of a 'chop' or 'slice' which happens to coincide with the beat of the music trick'.

It's now grating on me :(

It was a nice feature, but like some condiments, best used sparingly :p

How the hell is Polly still in, has she actually done 1dish with no big mistakes.

Also new format still sucks.
