Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

A lot of the offers are completely risk free BUT there isn't a guaranteed profit so it is luck of the draw whether you win, in particular the casino offers.

none of it is completely risk free, you've just got to decide whether it is worth while... 'matched betting' is generally low risk with big name bookies, casino offers can still be +EV and worth doing but yes you do have a bit more variance in the returns you can make

Naughty boy yet again but lady lucky with me. I put my first £10 free bet on Juventus win or draw, made £13.33.

Note to self read the terms and conditions properly and dont deposit with Skrill why oh why did i sign up to this after everyone raving about it wish just kept me card

could have lost two thankfully only lost one but it was layed against so only small loss can still deposit with card and get me free bet so all is not lost.

Started again using profit accumulator but done all the signup offers in my girlfriends name this time. (All with her permission of course). Made around £500 since last sunday. Not bad for 6 days "work".

Seems lady luck likes this naughty boy, I put my second free £10 bet on Wolfsburg to win 1 min before the match, 2 minutes later they were 1 up :D game ended 2-1 and I made £18. One more free £10 bet left.

You know you're wasting a lot of the value of the free bet by putting it on at 2.8 odds, right?

For example if I would have layed the best rated one today at 56 odds, profit would have been £11, £7 less and lay of £649.

Its not bad odds. All depends how much he can afford to lay it off with. Plus the £10er on Wolfsburg would look like a mug bet, rather than him using it like a matched bettor.

For a stake not returned free bet, it is bad odds.

If laying it off you'd recover £6.22 from that £10 free bet (assuming a 2.8/2.8 match and 5% commission). You should be aiming to recover at least £8 (roughly equal to a 6/6 match). With SNR free bets, higher odds is the key.

Appreciate that he didn't lay the bet off, but that doesn't change the maths (apart from getting rid of the commission).

The reason it looks like a mug bet is because it is a mug bet! Yes, it's less likely to attract attention, but you're throwing away a lot of value approaching free bets like that.

Trying this again. Is it ok to do a few bets at the same time? I can't get my free bet until Sunday so should I wait or do some other offers? Will it be tougher to keep track of?

Should I be focusing on horse races?

I still don't understand how I could have made more than £18 from a £10 free bet  I have one more left and very keen to know!

And it was an educated mugbet :D Wolfsburg won 75% of their home games this season and they for some reason wasn't the favourite to win the game.
