Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

I did this for a while, made a grand or so, got drunk, blew it all on the fruitys. Took a year off, made another grand or so, bought a crappy car as I needed one, got drunk, blew the rest on the fruitys.

I decided I'm not made for it, so havnt done it for about 3 years now. but it was pretty fun, and good money can be made, so good luck to you all.

at least you had fun with it...

maybe do it again but give the winnings to a trusted person to look after for you

I signed up for a month of PA. I done the stanjames and totesport ones so far today (of course I picked the winning horse again so money didn't go in my betfair account ) I lost 73p today but I should get £10 free bet from stanjames and £25 free bet from totesport tomorrow.

From my £35 of free bets I made £27.82, a few pounds less than I would have liked but totesport site is bad, keeps defaulting to fractions and then I had to scroll to bottom to change it, in that time I lost some good odds. After my PA £17.99 fee I have made £9.83 profit. I put £1 on Juventus to win tonight at 6/1 and banked £8.83. I will do more offers tomorrow.

How do I go about the offers where I have to place 5 separate £50 bets? Do I just deposit £250 and do them one by one?
Seems logical, I haven't got there yet.

I made an account with William Hill casino club a few years ago to do a quidco offer, the account wont log into sports just casino, does that mean I can do the sign up offer for William Hill sports?

William Hill Casino Club has nothing to do with the normal William Hill website, so you can join up and do their sports offer no problems.

Royal Ascot starts on the 16th June, you might want to hold fire signing up in case Billies up their offer to join which may happen.

This is pretty interesting. I like how you literally cant lose. Gonna get some practice in before football season kicks off.

I made £93 profit (with £17.99 PA fee included) with the beginner offers that I could do. I couldn't say that I enjoyed it waiting working days for withdrawals to come through and fear I could get banned.

The only problem I had was with Sportingbet, they are absolute scum, if you do match betting, avoid them! They advertise a £50 risk free bet, I bet £50 and lost, they refused to give me the £50 free bet without any reason at all and said they can do so because it's in their T&Cs (doesn't sound very legal, do I have a leg to stand on if I report them to my bank?)

Dear Tosno,

Thank you for contacting Sportingbet Customer Support,

Looking at your account I can see that the Marketing Department have taken the decision to remove your account from all SportingBet promotions as is their right via our Terms and Conditions.

Once this decision has been made I am afraid that there is nothing that Customer Services can do regarding this decision.

The Term and Condition that it falls under would be point 16.4 which reads the following:

16.4. Sportingbet reserves the right to refuse to grant a bonus or promotion or to exclude a customer from Sportingbet bonuses, rewards or promotions at any time or to withdraw, change, limit or suspend bonuses, rewards or promotions at any time.

This means that there will be no bonus' or free bet credited.

eh? report them to your bank - what does it have to do with your bank???

they don't want to spend some of their marketing budget giving you a free bet, they refer you to their terms and conditions (which likely allow them to do this else they wouldn't be referring you to them) - given that you're clearly looking to just take advantage of the free bet anyway it seems they've made the right call... move on to the next one and forget about it
