Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

PA have got a lot to answer on this, sending a load of very naive people in huge numbers to a small book that clearly couldn't afford it. Can only hope that puts an end to that site.

I kind of see where your coming from - there are very very little or limited warnings about using unheard off/tiny bookies

ouch, I started, with 200 and struggling. when this comes in tonight that'll have grown to 280. but yes I'm not going to pump anymore in.

why not - if you're not able to take up some offers due to having insufficient cash then...

FYI - my dad's had real issues with FUN88

He emailed me this morning to warn me

unfortunately one of the obvious risks that people who claim 'it's risk free' seem completely oblivious to

My email received from TLC at 11am this morning.

Following checks for bonus abuse and fraudulent activity, our Fraud Department has determined that your account is in breach of our Terms and Conditions, specifically clause 15.2 shown below:

15.2 In the event that we suspect that you or any other Player is abusing or attempting to abuse a bonus or other promotion, or is likely to benefit through such abuse we may block, deny, suspend, withhold or cancel the account of any such Player, including Your Account if we determine that you are involved in such.

Consequently, we have cancelled your winnings and will refund your deposit without any further delay.

Once this is complete your account will be closed.

What bonus did you do for that

To be honest, I can really remember, but I only had one free bet and the winnings were from a bet that won into the bookies rather than the exchange.

The **** is hitting the fan though. Now The Sun and Mirror are getting involved and IBAS, the gambling regulators.

People are trying to get the premier league teams they sponsor to get involved as well.

Seemingly a lot of people having issues with 12bet/fun88/138 going by a thread on MSE. Interesting to see it get picked up by the Mirror, a few people were emailing various papers.

I did the welcome offer at 138 a ~year ago and the site didn't inspire much confidence then. At that point I decided to stick to using a handful of well known bookies. Still plenty of money to be made without scraping the barrel.

It's worrying to see so many people rushing in to MB'ing and relying solely on sites like PA to spoon feed them offers.

Got those emails from 12bet and Fun88 too.

I withdrew after Cheltenham and used Live Chat twice asking when my withdraw will be cause it took over 10 days. They said there's so many people trying to withdraw after Cheltenham that it takes a while to process all withdrawals.

Genuinely curious, did you have any concerns when depositing with these sites?

If I take a look at the social media feeds and see tumbleweed it really doesn't inspire confidence.

I expected a company that falls under the auspices of IBAS, the gambling commission and sponsors two premier league football teams to be trustworthy tbh.

Yes I vaguely remember them.
Well then, I guess I just mean people shouldn't take things for granted just because they sponsor a team or two (666bet had Leicester). IBAS/UKGC aren't much use if a bookie ceases to trade.

Anyway, hope people get their money back.

Fun88... H is the 8th letter in the alphabet... 88 = HH... HH = Heil Hitler... coincidence, I think not!

Anyways, I would never use a small bookie, I stick to the big boys only.

Balances being confiscated at Betsafe too, a few days after PA got their 10 year anniversary offer canned. Hardly a coincidence. Now you can see why 99% of my posts in this thread are moaning about that ****ing site.
