Max's Training Log - 2014

Tonights training:

Squat 100kg 5/5 felt awesome
Bench 85kg 5/4 missed the last rep but glad with the 1st set
Deadlift 150kg 5 just one set of this, but it felt pretty good
OHP 55kg 4/4 push press to get the 1st rep up, about my limit I think!

Thats the 2nd cycle of HST done, might keep cutting (info in the group) so I'm just thinking what to do training wise.
 
87.9kg this morning :o

For those who GAF :p about flexible dieting here's a typical day for me whilst on these macros:

200g Protein
150g Carbs
75g Fat
30g Fiber (usually hover around this without really aiming for it)

Broke the fast at around 1pm with this:

2 rashers of stout and molasses smoked bacon
1 slice of goats cheese
Sliced beef tomato
2 slices of multi seed oat loaf bread
Little gem lettuce

Also had a double chocolate chunk Quest bar

766 calories - 57g protein/71g carbs/36g fat/24g fiber

After a mooch round town I had this little snack:

250g Liberte 0% fat Greek yogurt
25g chocolate casein
15g PB2 chocolate powdered peanut butter
1 chocolate hobnob

391 calories - 49g protein/29g carbs/7g fat/5g fiber

Dinner just a short while ago:

200g lean minced beef
50g onion
93g of mixed olive ciabatta (sounds anal but I just cut a slab off and weighed it)
1 slice of goats cheese
180g smoked ham
100g spinach
100g cucumber

854 calories - 94g protein/53g carbs/30g fat/6g fiber

Total macros for the day (including 2 fish oils)

2029 calories
200g protein
153g carbs
75g fat
35g fiber

Weight hovering as I have had one in the chamber for a couple of days :eek:

Back onto decent macros now, the difference it has made me feel mentally is pretty mad. Dieting for too long wasn't good.

Again, felt good. Lots of stretching and "out the hole" work is proving to be very useful.

Grip is holding out really well too which was always the first thing to go.

I just watched your squat video from 01/08 the guy in the rack next to you is squatting in flip flops, like seriously....

In other news, are you belting for both squats and DLs now?
