McCanns going too far?

This whole thing is sick.
It's been more than two months since she was abducted. The chances of her ever been found alive are less than slim. If I had to put money on it, I'd say she was dead and her abducters will never be tried.
I also think the McCanns are going slightly mad. This is becoming a pantomime.

I don't really blame them for having a fund and accepting donations, let's face it, if they took the opposite stance and refused money to help, people would only say: "They're rejecting help? Do they not wanna find their daughter? Hmmm something fishy is going on." 
However, I do blame them for what they appear to be spending the money on. Police in Portugal think she's still there somewhere, so why are they spending their fund on raising publicity in the UK? We all know she's missing, we can't do anything else for God's sake.
Spend the damn money on raising her profile in Portugal. Organise search campaigns and help fund police activity, not on stuff like releasing a single in the UK. If you're going to release a single, do it in Portugal as according the police, that's where they suspect she's still there. Keep her face everywhere, so if and when she is spotted, people are quick to react.

If their efforts do pay off, and she gets spotted somewhere and then later found it would be due to everything they're doing...the fact they are keeping the little girl in people's minds increase the chances of her being recognised. The people that have a problem with them doing this are infinately more 'disgusting' that anything the parents are doing to help her.

OK. Let me say this in so uncertain terms - SHE WILL NOT BE SPOTTED. That's why this whole thing is a bloody waste of time now. And this is why the McCanns are milking the media.
If you were her abducters you would do anything to change her appearance so she didn't look like the thousands of pictures we're seeing everywhere. And that's if she's ever taken outsdie and if she's alive, which I highly doubt.

Well, imagine instead you are a different family. One in which has lost their child and is doing everything in their power to find him/her. Only the media dont care, there was a tiny column in your local newspaper 3 weeks ago and all you can do is pin up posters on the streets. How would you feel if your child was missing and while the media were crying over Madeline your child was laying dead in a gutter.
What have they done, why do they deserve special treatment over the families of other missing children. Except neglecting to look after their daughter properly in the first place of course.
