McDonald’s general discussion

Anyone up for a "McDonald's McSpicy x Frank's RedHot"? It launches on the 7th February and I'm tempted. The McSpicy is my go to and the enhanced version sounds tasty!

I was impressed by new mcdonalds tv advert rspca pork - that's my usual requirement for supmkt meat purchase, not sure of the status of what else they serve though

Committed to welfare

We are committed to welfare, which is why all the pork we source comes from RSPCA Assured farms, winning us the 2017 RSPCA Assured Award for Commitment to Farm Animal Welfare. By working with the RSPCA we ensure our pork is of a higher animal welfare standard. All piglets are born outside and live with the sow in straw-bedded arcs or tents until they are weaned. The pigs are then reared in bright, airy barns where the pigs are provided with plenty of space, straw bedding and litter to ensure they are comfortable and can carry out natural rooting behaviours.

I think that’s US only. I saw that on Facebook, but the ad gave it away as US because they put the date month first.

I could be wrong though. Anyway, it’s spicy enough. It’s doesn’t need more heat imo.

And it's still crap compared to a KFC zinger burger.. the McSpicy is too dry and crunchy.. it's just not very nice.

McDonald’s chicken is always reheated as it comes in precooked whereas KFC is always cooked fresh from raw. McDonald’s chicken never has a chance tbh, at best it will be ‘dry’.
