McDonalds

What the **** happened to this place?
I don't go there very often coz I know it's just junk food but something has gone very wrong lately. Everytime I go there the food is almost stone cold or I have to wait for 10-15 minutes just to get sub-standard food.

There's always a bunch of migrants parked outside every store too working for uber-eats and other online delivery companies and these delivery firms seem to be given priority for orders....but I'm amazed that there are customers out there who are so lazy that they can't even drive to their nearest Maccy D's and get their own food and instead they need to have it delivered by scooter/car by some dodgy looking illegal migrants who spend their days living on car parks scratching their asses and picking their noses and generally being disgusting and unhygienic.

sorry mate, you are in the wrong forum, Stormfront is over there....................

Maybe they have it delivered because they don’t drive..
Or they're super hungover. When I lived in zone 1 I often ordered Maccies deliver (£2.50) despite Maccies literally being 0.2miles away.

Edit: as an aside, the greatest day of my life was being hungover and eating a burger in the bath. I've only had about 5 baths in my adult life so it was a real treat for so many reasons.

I ate my cold limp nasty double cheeseburger and fries earlier and fancied a moan about it......that's all.

Oof, double cheeseburger.

Just think, if you earned a bit more you'd be able to afford a quarter pounder or a big mac.

Might I suggest a career as a delivery rider?

Maybe, but I'm sure they could also eat something from their own fridge in less time that was hotter and tastier. Bacon butty ?

If you've got minced beef in your fridge...you could make the best burger ever according to your own preferences within 5 minutes.

Can I change my username please? I want to be known as "dog turd" so nobody can call me a beef shill :p

I too just don't get this just eat / fast food delivery lark. A) I don't get why someone would use one, and B) how there's enough profit in it to deliver a cheeseburger to the other side of town

They must turn a big profit though since they are in every ad break

Never understood the fascination of this place. There are nicer burgers around.

As a teen, I had to go with the flow when went out with friends for bowling, cinema etc and was outvoted to go to McDonald’s. Wasn’t impressed. I went for the chicken burgers

Last time I had a McDonald’s main was landing at 2am was was starving. As nothing else was open. I thought the €12 minging burgers at Rhodes airport (didn’t eat them) looked better.

Required documents to become an Uber Eats driver:

EU/UK Driver's Licence. Front and Back.
Bank statement. dated within last 3 months.
Certificate of Motor Insurance. Must cover food delivery or hire and reward not excluding food delivery. ...
Photo ID.
Right to work in UK.

Yes I'm sure illegal immigrants can't provide all of that.
That is the requirements to sign up. It doesn't mean the person doing the driving is the person who singed up. It is well known that there is widespread account sharing and fraud going on with these types of jobs unfortunately.

I'm semi-retired and living my end of days on quite a substantial inheritance bank balance.

FYI..

Got any more clever comments you want to make?

Delivery fees can be £2.50-£4.00 plus they fleece you for a 'service charge' (which was a card fee before it was made illegal) on every order.

There have been several instances of drivers caught using motor vehicles having signed up as a bicycle delivery, specifically to avoid the licence/insurance checks by JE/UE/Deliveroo. 3 were caught in my local area because the Maccies is at the end of a dual carriageway and JE's system flagged up due to the impossible delivery times because tracking showed them 'cycling' at 70+mph.

Racial comments aside, I do get the OP's frustration. Everytime I go the disabled bays are often populated by delivery drivers. Neither McDonalds or the delivery companies seem bothered about dealing with it so on the last few occasions I've just blocked them in. When they've kicked off I told them to call the police because that's the only way the car moves until I'm ready to leave. I usually then make my visit as long as the max parking time.

Most moped drivers for Deliveroo etc has L plates.

There’s no ID taking either as drivers just show a phone with order number. Anyone could borrow their mate’s phone.

How long have you got?

Ask the grim reaper...

I'm 50....so my death could be anytime in the next 1 to 50 years and age doesn't determine death anyway. You could be 21 and walk out of your front door tomorrow and get hit by a bus with brake failure or you could go and buy some trainers from JD and get blown up by a suicide bomber. Life is unpredictable. Wise up !

HTH.
