Its not quite that simple is it. If anything we have gone far too far in the other direction where we mustn't take any groups culture into account when assessing the risk of certain behaviours despite them being far higher than usual.
Pointing out that a certain group has a higher risk or X or engages in behaviour Y at a higher rate than the general population isn't saying that everyone in that group does it.

The article does run through a list of flops, but it’s also suggesting that “go woke go broke”, although there are murmurings of ‘poor viability’, is ultimately an unfair and unwarranted fair assessment (or a ‘regression’).
In other words, the article is actually ‘pro-woke’ - only mentioning as it’s not quite in line with what your post is suggesting

Disney has been really, really taking the pee with its theme parks recently and earned a reputation for poor value - it has definitely damaged its brand already on that front.

Hasn't this been a running joke for decades now.
You buy the pass to get in but you can buy the pass+ to get preferential treatment
Next year you can buy the pass extra to get preference over pass+
A few years later you can buy the VIP pass etc etc.
They have been pushing their pricing for god knows how long and people still pay it so it continues.
As with the liberal left as a whole, they pushed too hard and too fast with their agenda and it burned them. I'm glad the pendulum as swung the other way. In the past few years, every single new show had to have a POC and a gay person. Now several new shows have popped up this time round that has neither. There's definitely a sense this phase of aggressive wokeness is coming to an end. It's just sad it took this long as it's trashed some franchises and some tv shows that had great potential on the way

Phase 4 has been painfully dull, so I’m not surprised.
I think that there's a level of burnout happening with audiences and the MCU /DCU et al.
It certainly is in my case. I really have zero interest in super hero stuff anymore.
Yes fatigue does play a part but the biggest issue is the plonkers in Hollywood.
They have decades of wonderful books to pull stories from and they skipped most if to get get to the modern day bull crap.
Antman was a love letter to China to try and get their money. It bloody well also leads into a TV SHOW
They have created a mess.
No direction , No plan,
Who is going to be fronting these films going forward?
Most of the main characters/actors left won't put bums in seats.
This crap will be rebooted soon.
