MegaUpload has been shut down

Right! now
ha ha ha ha ha...

I am an antichrist
I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want
But I know how to get it
I wanna destroy passerby

'Cause I wanna be Anarchy
No dogsbody

Anarchy for the UK
It's coming sometime and maybe
I give a wrong time stop at traffic line
Your future dream is a sharpie's scheme

'Cause I wanna be Anarchy
In the city

How many ways to get what you want
I use the best
I use the rest
I use the N.M.E
I use Anarchy

'Cause I wanna be Anarchy
It's the only way to be

Is this the M.P.L.A or
Is this the U.D.A or
Is this the I.R.A
I thought it was the UK
Or just another country
Another council tenancy

I wanna be Anarchy
And I wanna be Anarchy
(Oh what a name)
And I wanna be anarchist
I get ****ed, destroy!

In addition to MegaUpload founder Kim Dotcom who was arrested today in New Zealand, another six alleged members of the Mega “conspiracy” were charged in the indictment:

- Finn Batato, 38, Mega’s chief marketing officer and a citizen and resident of Germany
- Julius Bencko, 35, Mega’s graphic designer from Slovakia
- Sven Echternach, 39,Mega’s German head of business development;
- Mathias Ortmann, 40, the German CTO, co-founder and director of Mega
- Andrus Nomm, 32, programmer and head of the development from Estonia
- Bram van der Kolk, 29, a Dutch citizen who oversaw programming and network issues.

Dotcom, Batato, Ortmann and van der Kolk were arrested today in Auckland, New Zealand, by authorities there. Bencko, Echternach and Nomm are still at large.

The authorities seized approximately $50 million in assets, which appears to include Kim Dotcom’s treasured collection of several dozen cars, as detailed below.

''According to the Department of Justice, the individuals named above face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit racketeering, five years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit copyright infringement, 20 years in prison on the charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering and five years in prison on each of the substantive charges of criminal copyright infringement''

I would be funny if i didnt think they would push for the death penalty if they could get away with it...

riaa.org down.
Looks like anom. is going full bore with this. I wonder how long they can keep these down for?

I was actually hoping they'd just defaced the sites with some big rant about how SOPA sucks and MegaUpload shouldn't have been taken down. Knowing the internet half the reason riaa.org is down is becuase people hear Anon have hit it and think "Really? I wanna see!" and jam the server trying to have a gander.

As much as I'd love to think this will change things, the US will just use it to justify locking down hard.

This is wrong on so many levels... surely the US "authorities" should be putting their case to the governments of the respective accused peoples' home countries? I don't get how they seem to effectively have a global jurisdiction in these sort of cases. Am I missing something fundamental here?

The Justice Department said that more than 20 search warrants had been executed in nine countries, and that approximately $50m in assets had been seized.

Just.. what? How? What the...?

Its because people are to busy being blindsided by the projected ego, to notice that America is bankrupt with little or no industry to pull it self out. China pretty much owns the USA and can screw it at anytime.
what were witnessing here is the death throes of a self centred country that chased the capitalism gravy triangle so far that it abbandoned thee ideas it was created upon and it won't. Be missed
